Being only 20 minutes away from the National Park and 15 minutes to Downtown Joshua Tree, it feels secluded but not in the middle of nowhere. Desert Star Glamping - Joshua Tree
It was great spending a couple nights here. Open land with room for car camping and no trash. We made a campfire and covered it up before we left. There are some neighboring cabins in the distance but not too close to worry about noise or bothering anyone. This was a great alternative to finding dispersed camping south of Joshua Tree.

Easy and simple
Great spot with low light pollution - little difficult to find at night, but we just used the coordinates and set up a spot right on the dot.

Smooth Sailing
Instruction to camp site were clear and easy to follow. The site was perfect for pitching a tent and building a fire. Neighboring campers were all spread at a good distance. Loved it for my first over night experience.
