Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a new Airstream? We have a 2020 Bambi that we have a darling set up for. This is wonderful backyard glamping at the base of Las Trampas and a just a few blocks away from the Iron Horse Trail. We are 6 miles from Mt Diablo State Park. 13 miles from UC Berkeley and 23 miles from San Francisco. Several restaurants and shops are within walking distance. We even have a Starbucks and Peet's coffee (0.4 mi away). There is a huge oak tree next to the Airstream with a Kodoma Zome large swing. I loved our stay in the airstream! I chose to stay here with my youngest son who turned 7 years old today. I filled his birthday with some one-on-one time playing Uno, walking downtown to grab breakfast at Alamo Cafe, and driving to our favorite hiking spot in Mt. Diablo at Rock City. These types of experiences are priceless! The host was very responsive and helpful. Her airstream was well-equipped and very clean. Since I've stayed at previous Airstreams before, my son and I opted to sleep in our sleeping bags instead of keeping the heater on at night since the built-in heater can be a little loud. I really appreciated that the host even made sure there was a humidifier plugged in upon our arrival, so we didn't feel dry when we were playing games and reading before bedtime.
