Our little cabin sits on 5 acres available for you to Immerse yourself in the soothing ambience of the desert, with panoramic views of the breathtaking landscape right at your doorstep. Book your stay now and experience the harmony of nature and serenity like never before.Our cabin only has one bed that would sleep two people and a couch that would sleep one but feel free to have others join and pitch a tent anywhere on our 5 acres of land. We even love pitching our own tents on our large deck. We allow 4 other guests to join for an additional fee of $5 per person. Unwind and reconnect with nature or drive into town that's 15 mins away. Take a leisurely hike in the national park or venture out on a memorable stargazing adventure when the sunsets. Joshua Tree National Park, renowned for its striking rock formations and picturesque landscapes, is just a short drive away, offering endless opportunities for exploration and adventure. As you find yourself in the beautiful desert please always remember that there are wild animals out here. Although rare, you may run into rattlesnakes, scorpions, and tarantulas. Please be careful and aware of your surroundings, especially if wandering around the desert at night. Please note that we have exterior security cameras for both your safety and ours. Also note that a portion of the last leg of your drive to the cabin will be on dirt roads. Please check the weather forecast when booking. It can get extremely hot in the summer time, and although we do have AC it won't go twenty degrees under the outside temperature.

Hidden Sands

My family loved staying here! It was quiet, secluded for the area and exactly what we were looking for. You are not too far from the city should you need anything either. A couple FYI's to reiterate from the official listing - neither of which are a problem, but Arisara is being candid about these: Nearby roads are unpaved and they definitely have loose sand in some spots. We made it just fine in a 2WD Pathfinder, but it is something to keep in mind. The HVAC unit is not there to keep the place "cool" 24/7 - it's to take the edge off. We arrived around 6:30PM and were perfectly comfortable by 8PM or so. Again, this is no problem at all if you are expecting it! Overall, we loved this location and would gladly stay again!

Perfect weekend getaway

Had a lovely stay at Hidden Sands this past weekend! The cabin is beautifully done and has everything you could possibly need for a trip in Joshua tree. The amenities were very helpful as we didn’t have to pack a coffee maker and could bring our own food due to the fridge/microwave (although I do recommend Sky High Pie for pizza if you’re in the area)! It is extremely close to the park and town which is convenient and makes for a stay that feels absolutely secluded but without the inconvenience of a far drive to your plans during the day. The dirt roads weren’t too bad (I have a RAV4) but I will say it is very dark at night (obviously) so be diligent if you don’t see well to go a bit slower. The stars were also incredible. Couldn’t ask for anything better!

This house is such a gem. It’s very comfortable, has everything I need. There’s no neighbors. And you can watch sunrise and sunset from the deck. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much.

Perfect Stay!

Can’t recommend enough! Everything was perfect and when we were given the wrong door code, the host replied with a new code in less than 2 minutes. Super cozy stay in a very convenient location

Cabin Life

We loved the stay at the cabin, it was very quiet around and beautiful inside! Definitely a cabin stay for a couple but we were a family of 4 and made it work! Would definitely stay there again! The shower was amazing and the whole house decor was on spot! Great for watching stars at night as there wasn't any light pollution.
