Clear Lake Campground is a small, vintage RV and tent campground, established in the 1950s. Camp right on Cache Creek, the only outlet of Clear Lake. The campground offers fishing, kayaking, and boating right from Camp. A car or boat is required to get to Clear Lake. For lake fishing, Redbud Park, Highlands Park and Austin Park are all within a ten minute drive from Camp. Austin Park also has a playground and swimming beach.
The park offers rustic charm with great fishing and bird watching right from your campsite. We have a boat launch for your kayak, canoe or motor boat and we have canoe and kayak rentals. Cool off in the small pool. Challenge your family to a ping pong tournament or corn toss game.
Lake County guests enjoy stunning vistas, world-class wines, the largest freshwater lake in California, the cleanest air in the US and endless outdoor activities. Activities include fishing, birding, kayaking, biking, hiking and wine tasting. Our staff have been trained as tourism ambassadors and can help you make the most of your vacation.
Travel trailers, campers, tents and RVs are all welcome. Most sites include water, sewer and 30 amp electric. Limited wifi. Campsites are hard packed dirt. We also have 3 partially-furnished canvas bell tents to make your stay even easier!
Please note, our small vintage campground is best suited to smaller trailers and motor coaches. Sites range from 25-40 feet long and 18-24 feet wide. Please plan accordingly.
Very nice place with several amenities; pool, kayaks, large open group areas, showers and, if you choose, portable propane fire pits.
Lisa was super great and on top of everything.
Definitely great camping.
Lisa was soooooo friendly! (One of the best private campsites we’ve stayed at). Check in and check out was easy, we rented canoes for a couple hours, the pool was nice, and the campground was solid. It’s a vintage place, but it’s nice and Lisa and the rest of the staff were super accommodating. Great weekend!
We enjoyed our stay here. Lisa the host was terrific. Very attentive, helpful and full of good tips. The location was exactly what we wanted. We came on a hot Labor Day weekend and the place filled up. We were stuck between two tent campers that showed up late and in spite of the lateness, (they had to set up first) decided to have a big reunion with bright lights and everything. They didn't break any rules, but were still rather inconsiderate as it was pushing 9. Please remember that this is an RV Park and this kind of behavior can sometimes be expected
🤷
Great spot for fishing. Can’t get in the creek water tho but there is a pool. I felt very safe spending the nice there. It’s pretty quiet. No one was loud at night. Plenty of games to do around camp if you are sticking around. I was just passing through though.
