Camp in Castella next to Castle Creek! Enjoy the creek and access to the Sacramento River, with Castle Crags State Park in the backyard, for endless hiking, and beautiful wilderness exploration!Castella, CA is a beautiful paradise valley, in the mountains, near majestic Mt Shasta! It is a magical place to camp, and explore the beautiful Castle Creek, and Sacramento River, with Castle Crags, beaconing you to come, and hike its trails.
This property now features a brand new 30’ dome, by Pacific Domes. Built last summer season, we now offer a group gathering space, plus camping at our Hipcamp site.
Take a nice cool creek, or river, dip, and don’t miss the grand adventure of tubing the river to Sweet Briar, from Castella, when the river conditions are perfect, and the weather is hot!
It’s a mountain-river-forest-creek-sun lover’s paradise park, with Castle Crags in your backyard!
Please take note that this property is situated on the bank of Castle Creek, with beautiful trees. However, the railroad runs adjacent to the property, and it is in close proximity to the freeway. So, I hope you won’t mind the passing trains during your stay. The freeway gets quieter at night, but a train will most likely pass a few times in the day, and a few times in the night.
