Pretty & comfy site near Yosemite

Site 1 is excellent. Jim set up tents for us and we rolled in after a long drive and were immediately comfortable. The outdoor shower feels amazing after a long day of exploring. The campsite is also equipped with a pretty fire pit, firewood, an electrical outlet and pretty (and very handy) bistro lights. This is a GREAT option for people who want to explore Yosemite Valley without dealing with the camping reservation system. I highly recommend it and will be back.

Highly recommended

What a lovely site to stay at! Very clean, comfortable, and close to the main gate of Yosemite. The location also felt secure, I am a woman that was traveling with young girls and I felt entirely comfortable at the site. No cell phone service (Verizon), which is actually a positive feature when camping with kids. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Camping Experience

Had an amazing camping experience at Jim’s camp sit. Everything looked as is in the pictures posted. Jim provided updates made sure his guests were taking care of. Also, a gas station is across the site if forgotten anything. Thank you!

Camping at Yosemite’s Doorstep

Nice secluded site! Jim was a great host and communicated very well. He made sure we had everything and everything was laid out very nicely. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Very close to the park and a gorgeous beautiful area!

Jim had such great communication leading up to the booking, making us feel comfortable and cared for. The site was “luxurious”, we kept repeating this over and over. There was clear attention to detail in this site and none of it was left unnoticed. I’d definitely recommend for anyone to stay here, it’s SO close to the park entrance and super gorgeous. Jim was awesome and so was the site!
