Come make yourself at home on our beautiful 10 acre property just up the road from the town of Mendocino. This site is only a 5 min drive to town, so it’s close to the beach, river access and local restaurants and shops.. Walk through the redwoods or enjoy the sunshine, the property offers a bit of it all! We have 4 different sites to choose from. 3 sites can accommodate recreational vehicles of different sizes and 1 site is just for tents. Pitch your tent under the redwoods, or in our lovely open area! Pick from one of our private zones nestled in the trees or the open space by our vertical Redwood carving! Large groups are welcome to book all 4 sites and have the property all to your self. Enjoy the cool shade of the redwoods all while being in the sunbelt just 4.5 miles from town of Mendocino! The property has tons of hang out spots! Eat lunch over at the picnic tables, stare up at the stars at our moon gazing bench, or hang out in our communal area, over by the campfire.. We also have an outdoor shower and kitchen sink area that are open to all. The property runs parallel with Mendocino state parks and has plenty of spots to explore! Our main goal is to make you feel at home! Some things to know; -Cell service is very spotty onsite. -There is one communal fire pit. (NO fires at individual site) -Please remember “ pack it in pack it out” -We do our best to be good land stewards, please do the same. Camping in the Redwoods

Overall, this is a fabulous camp for someone who wants to be in the trees, away from town. We ended up not staying at this site. We got to it, although Apple maps directed us to a driveway two driveways up, and turning a trailer around is challenging and frustrating in narrow spaces. So, if you're using Apple maps, be careful and watch the numbers on the driveways. The whole campground is amazingly well kept, and stocked with firewood, mosquito repellent and anything else you'd need. We were only going to stay one night as we were traveling through, but for us this site didn't work out. After maneuvering the trailer into the spot, we took the dogs for a walk on the leash and discovered the mosquitos were really bad, and the road was very close to our camp site - maybe 60 or 70 yards, and the cars zoomed by fast which was irritating and we didn't feel good letting the dogs off leash. It wasn't a constant flow of traffic, but about every 60 seconds a car would go by very fast. We hooked the trailer back up and left, and went to a campground south of Mendocino and were happy there. So while I think that Campfire! is a great place to camp if you're looking to spend time sitting around a campfire with a group of friends or family, it wasn't what we needed on our trip.

Stoney Campers Delight

A true gem of a spot! Lovely campground throughout featuring cute, highly unique actual camp spots, hammocks, outdoor shower, a fat central fire ring for chilling, frisbee golf and whimsical, fairy garden type items and structures! All that on a very quiet redwood setting 10 minutes from the town of Mendo and great owners to boot! 10/10

Excellent place to camp. Enjoyed the lush surroundings, campfire, picnic table, dishwashing station and hot outdoor shower. Easy to find and easy to get into town. 5 stars

Great experience! Nathaniel was really responsive and helpful. The site is amazing and well stocked with firewood. Beautiful location - perfect getaway spot. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.
