Cozy cabin on ten wooded acres within a neighborhood. A double bed and a single bed in the loft upstairs (cabin sleeps 3). Brand new everything. Easy to get to, and walkably close to the golf course. Great for kayakers, beachgoers, and fishermen. You can hook the cabin up to your generator, or use the solar outlets provided. Plenty of room to roam, and a large area around the cabin is fenced in, so dogs are OK! Outdoor kitchen has running water and all cooking tools. Picnic area, outhouse, wifi and great cell coverage!Great for shade in the summer months. The cabin is a cool place to hang out and read books from the provided library. The beds are comfortable and the wooded view is amazing. Walk your dog down to the golf course, which will soon have a restaurant and brewery, or store all your kayaks under the cabin and meet friend's for dinner in town. Close to Kimtu and Big Rock, a great escape that's still very close to town. The property has some steep trails if you are game, and you can see the town of Willow Creek and the river if you hike far enough up the hill. 3 fit comfortably in cabin. Sheets and blankets provided, but sleeping bags encouraged.

Bigfoot Little Cabin
Oh the Dogs.
I wanted two things during my trip in the cabin; peace and solitude. The cabin is as it seems - small, off the grid, minimal/manual amenities. Everything was fairly clean, but if you dont like spiders/bugs then you will have some surprises. Its basically glamping. Anyway, i didnt care about any of that - in fact its what i wanted. However, unlike what is portrayed in the pictures the cabin is actually in a neighborhood and not really what I would call secluded. This could be my fault for not looking into it more, but the feel isnt like it is in the posted pictures. Again, not the biggest deal. But it was the dogs. Oh the dogs. The neighborhood has like 15 dogs around it, and a small pack of them right next door. The dogs are friendly, but largish and bark at you if they dont know you. If any dog starts barking, the whole neighborhood suite goes off. And one (or two?) of them sometimes bark all night. I love dogs and have had them all my life, but because the fence perimeter of the cabin has loosely chained gates, the dogs regularly push themselves into the property, and this became annoying because they want food or take your seats and then dont listen if you want them to move. One even took one of my shoes which was eventually retrieved. I want to underline that none of this was the Host's fault: Sara was very helpful and responded promptly. But if you are planning to stay here and stick around the cabin instead of travel around then it isn't so peaceful.

Even though the description mentions the issues we had, it didn't clearly explain how rough this camp was. Very steep hill so no where level to park van. Outhouse is far from cabin and very rough - full of spiders and webs. Sleeping accommodations are a fold out futon and a spring filled mattress in the loft. We didn't even stay the night.

This cabin is super cute and the battery/solar power supply is a nice way have power available for conservative use. I found myself wanting to stay longer than one night to take advantage of the simple nature of staying in the cabin.

Global warming :/
The cabin has a ton of character. Unfortunately it was soooo hot out we were unable to stay comfortably. No fault of the owners. Just be aware if the weather is warm it may not be the ideal spot to sleep

In the end our plans changed and we didn’t spend the night. But we hung out for a bit and it was a beautiful spot.. very tidy and organized and right at the edge of town. We’ll likely end up back here later in the summer.

We really enjoyed staying at Sarah’s cabin! It was a cool spot we stayed in for one night. Very cozy little cabin with nice outside lights!
