Almost 20 acres of peacefulness! Come enjoy the starry night skies and the sound of nature. The moon lights up the land with such an amazing brightness! The crow of the roosters will wake you up in the calm of the morning, and the slight breeze is so refreshing. You might even get sneak peak of the hot air ballons taking off from the nearby wineries. All our spots are drying camping ONLY. Picnic tables are available for use as well as a few firepits (during Fall/Winter season only). BBQ grills are allowed. Trash is to be packed out as it was packed in, we do offer a dumpster for your rubbish in front of the 2nd entrance, remember wildlife lives on the property and their safety is very important so we do request not to feed any animals or leave food out. We are so proud of our lil ranch and want all to experience a peaceful night/weekend/week away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday life. We also offer an animal experience, for an additional fee, if desired.Beautiful views of the San Jacinto and Palomar mountains, (I guess we are partial to this land since we live on site) but I think we have some of the most amazing sunsets in all of southern CA, so majestic so be sure to set up your site to get the amazing views of the sunrise/sunset! If you are early to rise and look to the West, you may have a possible glimpse of the mesmerizing Temecula Valley hot air balloons, (we have been known to have one land here on occasion.) If you like adventuring out, you can hike/explore on the back of our land, the rocks, and ravines are fun for all to explore and if you have a 4 x 4 vehicle you can explore on marked trails up the hill. You are welcome to hike to find a secluded camping spot also. You will have the opportunity to see all types of wildlife as well as many types of native plants to Sage, CA. We do have a beekeeper that leases an area in the far back of the property, so be sure to steer clear of the honeybees! The beautiful night sky with no light pollution will most likely be what brings you back time and time again. We Thank you for exploring our land and planning your next adventure here in Sage. (If several campers are here at the same time, we suggest choosing spots pretty spread out to get the full outdoor experience.) You are able to hang solar lights and we are not opposed to ez-ups/portable shelters, as long as they don't obstruct anyone else's view, just be mindful of the wind gusts that occur out here, we wouldn’t want any injuries. If you need to fill your water tank you can on the way in from our refreshing well water (a filter is recommended) on your rig/water supply as the water does come from the earth. We don't mind your grey water being emptied on our land, but BLACK water is an absolute NO! There is no electric hookups but you are most welcome to use your own generator as long as it is not too loud or disturbing any of our other campers. We do have a few fire rings for use during cooler weather or if you just want a mesmerizing camp fire (weather permitting) I can have firewood for sale as well, with an advance notice! The land is pretty flat and has some vegetation from time to time; if need be you can clear a small area for your use, if you cannot find any spots to your liking! We do try to have the land cleared, but there may be times a spot you are wanting needs clearing. Also, in the fire season months we may have to restrict campfires as fires are a real danger here. If you have additional guests, we don't mind adding tent camping to your area as well. No supplies other than those mentioned are offered, unless we discuss prior. One little piece of history out here is John Wayne's old 2000 acre ranch - Rancho Pavoreal is located less then 5 minutes off of Sage Rd, 43000 Stanley Rd. Sage is known for farming, ranching and bee keeping dating back to 1893. It is also known for its views, hiking, multi-habitat species preserves and close proximity to Temecula Wineries. The elevation is approximately 2313 feet. Our population according to the 2020 census was 3370. Lake Skinner and most of the Temecula wineries are approximately 20 min from the property. Anza, CA is about 30 min away and they have Cahulla Casino, gas stations, and few fast food places. We are also in close proximity to Aguanga where the famous Temecula Olive Oil Company is located, and of course there are many other things to enjoy out here in rural CA! Picnic Tables, chairs and fire rings are first come first served; if you inform us when you book I can try to make sure we have what you need. We are always available and nearby. We will bring items requested out to you once you choose the perfect spot! If you have any questions we are happy to answer them. Enjoy!! And don’t forget to leave a review! Thank You for joining us! Just a reminder, cell service is sparse so keep that in mind. In case of emergency, please come up to the house and we can notify authorities or help obtain medical help! *****Reminder**** Tent or camper/trailer are required to camp on this property. And if you smoke, please extinguish all butts in liquid, not on the ground. Thank you! Please remember to clean up after yourself & dispose of trash in receptacle/can. We can’t wait to see you!

Moonlight Trails
Kim's land was quite secluded and we found a clear spot to set up on a hill. We had a perfect view of the sunset and there were plenty of stars out.

Amazing sunsets + awesome hosts!
This was such a special stay. Kim and her husband were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, taking care to build us a fire pit, show us around, and introduce us to their chickens, goats, dogs, ducks, and horses. There are numerous potential campsites on their property, and we opted for the one near their house, tucked behind a bush for some privacy. There are also sites up the dirt road that are a little more secluded, but we loved getting to interact with our hosts and have their two sweet dogs close by as our faithful little guard dogs. The sunsets are also phenomenal from this spot! You can watch the snow-capped peaks in the distance turn pink as the sun sets, and the hot air balloons coming up over the hills as the sun rises. This place has rustic charm and farm critters and greenery everywhere, and we loved every minute!
