Once an ancient Redwood grove full of mature redwood trees towering 250 feet in the air, This is a beautiful piece of property, very private, with an old growth Redwood snag still remaining and 30 foot diameter re-sprouted Redwood fairy rings. it has its own private entrance. In the redwood forest, lots of trees and other vegetation. Good wildlife watching area. 4 miles from the ocean. Campsites have own access point. Pack it in, pack it out. Please be respectful of neighbors and land around you. 2 sites available - both with potable water, and area for campfires (outside of any burn ban), and toilet access. Firewood available for fee. Pets allowed. Guests love staying here: "This was such a treat. Nathan was a responsive, present host--made sure we had all of the wood we wanted. We were tucked away in the woods with great amenities... bathroom included. There is a beautiful tree on the campsite that made the whole experience magical. And my pup was free to run and around and bring me sticks. I will definitely come back again!"

Site 1 - Baby Banana Slug Farm
A magic gem
This campsite is pure magic! Surrounded by redwoods and totally secluded. We had a wonderful time cooking over the fire and hiking during the day. Nathan was so kind and walked over to say hi and ask if we need anything. We told him we’d be back to rent out the other campsite and cabins with our friends!

Sunset Cabin
Just wow 🤩
We stayed at the Sunset Cabin at the Banana Slug Farm and it was absolutely magical! Property owner was very polite and helpful. My teenager who hates anything nature related actually was up swinging with me on a tree swing we found in the morning. I can’t even put into words how peaceful and enchanting the woods around there are. The coast is really close and the drive up there was absolutely breathtaking. 10 out of 10 would stay again. I am a single woman with a teenage son, we stayed alone and felt safe the whole time.

Redwood Retreat
The cabin was really sweet and comfortable. Beautiful custom wood cabinets and tables made by the owner and the space was clean. The setting was relaxing and quiet. The only thing we would change is the addition of a couple more things to make it easy: soap in the shower and a washcloth for wiping down counters.

Site 2 - Baby Banana Slug Farm
Very nice tent camping spot with easy parking, potable water, good fire pit, and outhouse. The firewood seems to be a pretty good deal but we brought our own. Lots of banana slugs! :3

Sunshine Cabin
This space is idyllic, peaceful, and a great value! Nathan and his mom were great hosts and extremely responsive to my questions. It's a short drive from some beautiful spots along the coast. Can't recommend enough, especially the Sunshine Cabin for those of us who unfortunately need to stay connected while still surrounded by beautiful nature.

Sunshine Cabin
The Sunshine Cabin is GREAT
Great little cabin stay! The bed was super comfortable. The communal kitchen had a water kettle for making a coffee in the morning and we had a cute spot to enjoy our morning coffee on the porch... we loved our stay! Highly recommend. I wish we could have stayed longer (one night while passing through the area). Great host - super friendly and nice. They left the light on for our late arrival time which was so helpful when we arrived in the dark.
