Beautiful natural campsites in the Valley of the Moon (Ojai Valley). Our sites are within an eighth of a mile of walking, running, biking, and riding trails from Ojai to the beaches of Ventura. On many days you can experience Ojai’s famous pink moments. You can hike the trails above Ojai, boat, eat, or picnic at Lake Casitas. Travel to nearby Ventura to shop, fish the pier, or take a deep sea fishing charter or Island charter to Whale watch or fish around the Channel Islands. Please note the aerial view of the camping area recently placed by Hipcamp is NOT AT ALL REPRESENTATIVE of the current camping sites and shows a photo that is many years old when the site was merely land. That photo is without any of the existing amenities or improvements. The actual sites are all Larger than Federal Park and Statepark guidelines, with averages of 20'x30' for campsites and 20'x40' for a long RVCampsite. We have planted many young trees and continue to plant trees and native shrubs around and near the sites. We have picnic tables, table coverings, fire pits, and camping rugs/footprints. There is also an outdoor shower, a shower tent with hot water, and an upgraded porta-potty with a sink. Note: During times when high heat is predicted, we strongly recommend that our Hipcampers bring pop-up shade tents or canopies for their sites. The Hipcamp is adjacent to our working ranch, and any photos of old sheds, trucks, a wood lot, or other equipment are NOT on the Hipcamp, but you will drive past that property to get to the separate Hipcamp area. Wineries, Farmer's Markets, Craft Breweries, dispensaries, and more are within 10 to 15 minutes of our site. Our location allows moments when you may see Hawks, Owls, Geese, Swallows, Robins, Bluebirds, and more. We offer both tent and RV camping. The Majority of our Guests love it here: "Vivian and Dave were exceptional hosts! Easy to contact and find our way to their property. Also gave us a plethora of places to go and things to do in the Ojai area. The area was open and spacious, and many trees and upgrades were in the works to make future stays more user-friendly. Big pluses were the shower and toilet facilities—much appreciated !!"

Welcoming!
Vivian and her husband are very nice and welcoming people. Their property is large with camp sites spread through out. We reserves the riverside. It was the most private option and it was very large. The direction Vivian sent were spot on and easy to find (even at night). We were traveling with small dogs and the only downside is they did tend to get lots of burrs in their paws. But otherwise it was completely wonderful and I would stay again!

Cricket Symphony
Such peace in a prime location. This area of Ojai is a Mecca of whirling campers headed to and from the beach and up and down the mountain trails. I was lucky to be able to find this spot for a busy weekend. I like places that put effort into their space. Whether it be small or large. You can tell here that these people care about wanting to create a pleasant space to chill and camp for a few days. They stack the firewood by your pit. They don’t have to, but they do. They put fresh table cloths on benches and tables with weights to limit chaos in the wind. They also don’t have to do that, but they do. They have trash and recycling with lids that actually stay closed to prevent wasps. Once again, they don’t have to, but they do. It’s the little things that show they are trying to provide you with a comfy spot. And then at night the cricket symphony mixed with an array of other wildlife tweets and whistles is just zennnnn. If you brought your sleep meds and ear plugs…you won’t need em 🥱😴🫠.

Site 1 Oak Tree
The campsite was perfect. We had a nice oak tree the gave us shade. Sitting out under it all day was awesome. All the other campers were very friendly. My family and I had a great experience.

Great stay and very clean
I really enjoyed how clean the location was and equipment. There was alot of space for sitting and great table space. Trashcans were included on each campsite which made it very convenient as well. The best was waking up to the roosters in the morning! Unforgettable!

Cozy
They were so friendly and it felt so cozy! There were solar lamps all over the campgrounds to light the way. The porta potty is lovely, as far as porta potties go. They have taken time to make fire rings and have seats all around the fire. They even had a pet waste can with extra bags! They have obviously put a lot of love into making this campground feel homey.
