Our home is Albion is truly a gem-stuck in time and we like it that way! There is an air of the slower paced life here that is infectious upon arrival. Our home sits on 18 acres of old logging land. After the 1906 earthquake and fire in San Francisco, the old growth redwoods here were logged, floated, and used to rebuild the city. Albion is a small village located south of Mendocino Proper. Albion consists of a small community of people, and provides a sun belt from the coastal fog-on most days! Where Albion Ridge Road meets CA-1, there is a small store and deli. Albion is ten minutes away from the property and we highly recommend the Ledford House and Albion River Inn for dinner. Albion is only 20 minutes to the Mendocino village, and along the way there are many vistas, and places to stop and watch the waves. You may even spot a whale! 30 minutes East on CA-128 will take you to Philo and Boonville. We recommend Gowan's Apple Orchard!
