A Drifter's Dwellin' is jus what it sounds like. Surrounded by beautiful, ever-changing desert skies, starry nights. Nestled behind my home, this cozy, vintage camper trailer has everything you could need. (water, power, blankets, pillows, toilet, shower). Jus 15 mins from the North Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Pets welcome. Come relax, drift away! THE SPACE: The Drifter's Dwellin' is quiet and cozy, it's perfect for lonesome drifters, solo wanderers and carefree couples. The Dwellin’ trailer is positioned on 2.5 acres, behind my home in beautiful Desert Heights, 29 Palms. Use of this Vintage Camper Trailer includes: two cozy cots with warm blankets, extra pillows, running water in kitchen, a modern compost toilet, a portable shower for indoor/outdoor use, an indoor/outdoor dining area, an electric hotplate stove, a non working, air tight, refrigerator used for pantry and dry food, provisions, potable water, hot water kettle, French press, dishes, silverware, glassware outdoor bonfire pit and a JBL bluetooth speaker.A Drifter's Dwellin' is jus what it sounds like. Excellent host

Dusty is an excellent host! He's very helpful and to replies instantaneously ti any question you might have. The location is not as secluded as I expected from the pictures with properties at a distance on all sides. But you do get a desert feel, see the stars, and can build a fire for an enjoyable evening. The Joshua Tree National Park is an easy drive away. If you're into the dessert and trailer living, go ahead and book your stay. The only additional note from me is that it's a quirky old trailer with cooking, showering, and using the restroom not being straightforward and requiring reading and following instructions. But, as I mentioned, the host is there to help if need be.

Dusty's RV was a perfect place to stay in the desert. The firepit + grill and tons of surrounding land really made the experience for us! Totally great experience.

Getaway from city

Loved staying here :) Nice getaway from city and host ensured we were comfortable. We didn’t have a bigger cooler but Dusty offered us his which was very nice!

Prime and Private Location

Amazing host first and foremost! The place is everything you’d expect and more. Super conveniently located to all the major spots you want to visit. Private and peaceful as well. Definitely recommend.

Great Spot!

Great spot, super easy to find and Dusty gave clear directions for accessing the space. My biggest concern was being cold as it was a very windy night when we stayed but the trailer is packed with plenty of warm blankets, there’s heating pads on the bed and space heaters. We really appreciated all the efforts to keep us warm, and having an easy place to stay so close to Joshua tree. Would recommend!
