Magical Camp Hoppy
Lovely stay
We had a great stay at Camp Hoppy - the site was beautiful. It was really convenient to have the option of taking a warm shower and using a little bit of electricity, even though the rest of the site felt very remote and rustic. Highlights of our stay were swimming and exploring the river, and enjoying the wildlife. A fox visited stopped by the campsite and barked at us on the first night! Our dog loved lounging in the camp chairs and the decks.

Magical Camp Hoppy
Lovely trip with pups at Camp Hoppy
We had a great time at Camp Hoppy! We had a group of four plus two small dogs and it was wonderful to have the site to ourselves, especially with creek access. There's some lovely amenities like dimmable lights and a bathroom with a hot shower (just be sure to bring hand and shower towels, etc). There's also a yurt down by the creek and another structure at the main area with some cots. We stayed in tents near the bathroom (we found this to be the flattest ground). Other highlights included the closeness to the Russian River, the berry bushes by the outdoor shower, the bonfire spots, and star views at night. We definitely hope to come back!

Perfect group site with privacy!
We had a group floating on the Russian river for the weekend and Camp Hoppy was the perfect base camp! It’s such a picturesque site with plenty of space for all your tents. It also has great amenities like multiple picnic tables, a bonfire pit, and a full bathroom to use.
It’s also private, which to me is worth the money for your groups trip! You’re not confined to a tiny site next to a bunch of other tiny sites with a set quiet time.

Magical Camp Hoppy
We loved the private feeling and facilities at this camp! We had two families of four and a dog, and felt plenty of room to stretch out. Kids loved the zip line and hammocks. Adults loved the quiet and ability to let kids roam. Be sure to check out the little yurt by the creek, and spend lots of time swimming.

Magical Camp Hoppy
Magical, indeed! The magnificent redwoods, the secluded creek with crystal clear water and mossy rocks all in an easily-accessible and comfortable setting (we were a group of 11 with 4 tents). Thank you for sharing this gem with us, Sonia. We had a great time!
