This extraordinary 200 acres is magical and host a wildness which feels peaceful and secure. It is also the home of the developing Wisdom Retreat Center eco-preserve noted for quality of beauty and silence. Many Indian arrow heads have been found here indicating former residences of indigenous tribes. There are many open meadows and old growth forest to hike and explore.

Rugged paradise!
Looking for the rugged experience? This is the right place. Quiet, peaceful and disconnected. There aren't many places like this one left in California where you do have basic amenities but it is still kept simple and rugged so you trully disconnect and experience the outdoors. Multiple water holes near by as well as interesting hikes.

Maidu Park Campground
We loved our stay here. We brought our Highlander and teardrop trailer. The land was indeed beautiful and magical. I have never seen so many happy Madrone trees in one spot. Adam was very nice welcoming and helpful. We definitely plan to come again, possibly in one of the cabins which are beautiful and looked very comfortable.

Beautiful spot. Lots of space between campsites. Shower and bathrooms are clean and fit right in with the campsite vibe. Great water pressure.

Trinity Cabin, of the Wisdom Center
Super cute campground and cabin really enjoyed being able to relax and see only tree out the windows. Super accommodating. Thanks again!

Directions
Maybe some cute little signs that tell the guest to go this way and some mosquito repellent in case anybody forgets theirs but I guess those are more wants and not needs
