Shamballa Cabin, eco-preserve
Great remote location, close drive to rivers. It is not exactly glamping but it meets the requirements . Wifi certainly helped with planning and hassles of bringing lots of camping equipments. Inside the shamballa cabin, there were good amount of dust collecting in the bed room but its was not a big deal. However the bed, blanket, and pillows has a bit of rustic charm to it with stains and very well used for a long time.. not sure if the rooms was missed for cleaning. Overall, communication with Adam is very good, he respond to many of our questions and promptly replaced propane for the stove when it ran out. There were ample amount of bed sheets, clean towels and stocked kitchen utensils. Having shower is nice plus but the tub can be cleaner. We enjoyed our time there as it is very quiet and remote

Serenity Cabin
We had a great time on Adam's property for Labor Day weekend! We stayed in Serenity cabin and it had everything we needed in the kitchen, comfy beds, a great porch to sit out on in the evenings. Both the outhouses and main house bathroom and shower were a very short walk. Adam was great with information and quick to respond with any questions we had. We loved it here and would definitely stay again.

Shamballa Cabin, eco-preserve
Great place to stay, definitely off the beaten path. Very rustic feel which I enjoyed. Cast iron fireplace which I lit every night, and worked very well to keep place warm. Very nice and quiet. Everything you need you have. Kitchen was perfect to prepare a good meal. You have a good amount of pots/pans and utensils. Showers and bathroom are literally a 2min walk. Yuba river nearby, nice to go and spend a day swimming or even gold panning. Fishing also not to far. Within 30 min from Bullard Bar reseviour or Yuba river. Drove in with my honda accord on a gravel path from the main road, roughly 1mile, 10min to cabin. Completely surrounded by tall tress. Temp usually drops by 10 degress once inside. I can see it may be difficult without a 4x4 in the winter. Adam is a great host, enjoyed our daily talks. Hope to see him again this time again next year or sooner. Can't wait to see the completion of the new group cabin, very beautiful!

Peaceful Getaway
Great place to unplug from the world and that’s exactly what we did. Will return when snow falls. Thank you Adam!

Serenity Cabin
Worth it!
"My son and I just had an incredible weekend at this Hipcamp site! It was the perfect spot for some quality father-son bonding time. The campsite was well-maintained and nestled in a serene, picturesque location that gave us a real sense of being immersed in nature. We spent our days exploring the nearby trails, fishing in the peaceful stream, and sitting around the campfire sharing stories under the stars. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. They provided all the little details that made our stay comfortable, from clean facilities to handy firewood. What made this trip truly special was the feeling of being away from it all, yet still having the convenience of well-thought-out amenities. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already planning our next visit. I highly recommend this site to any fathers looking to create unforgettable memories with their kids. We'll definitely be back!"
