Glamping in a tree! Inspired by the playful energy of a treehouse, and utilizing the foundational strength of the redwoods, to create a home above the forest floor. Nestled in a clump of redwoods trees that stand 100 feet. The deck outside is 40 feet off the forest floor by a creek on top of Coopers Gulch Park. you are in a forest canopy. Queen size bed and propane heat, small stove provided, storage cubbies, couch that folds out as a small bed, and desk area. We provide a kettle and a selection of teas. There is a solar powered battery unit with USB ports and appliance plugins. This is an “Off the Grid” experience, located at the end of a quiet street. Check out the great places to eat locally, or buy take-out to eat on the deck, you are one mile from downtown Eureka. There is a COMPOSTING TOILET outside. This Treehouse is a unique experience nestled in between four giant redwoods. Feel the connection to nature, listen to the birds sing, take in the lush green forest off of the deck. We hope you love your time here as much as we do!Glamping in a tree! Queen size bed and propane heat. Solo birthday trip
Very cool treehouse structure built around large old redwoods! Private space. Memorable fun awesome hot shower. Beautiful scenery from the deck for morning coffee or evening drinks. Appreciated the electric hot water kettle for coffee and tea powered by a battery that I was also able to charge my phone with. Plenty of coffee and tea bags provided. Extra blankets and the propane heater works well to heat up the space quick. I didn't mind using the compost toilet on the deck. It is on the opposite side of the house. The owner was quick to respond to messages. Would stay here again.

Two words- DO IT!
This is my new happy place. Seriously. I'm already planning my return. The convenience of this treehouse still being "in town" while feeling like were in the woods living so simply is so refreshing. The outdoor shower- wow. As others have stated, it was the best shower I've ever had! Maxwell is super responsive, too, which was so helpful. I can't wait to be back!

What a treat to stay in this treehouse--a rustic feel that still offers comfort. The bed is very comfy and the redwood outdoor shower is just awesome. Check in/out and communication was easy-peasy. I already want to stay again.

My partner and I were blown away by the beauty of this spot, it truly feels like you’re out in the woods. The outdoor shower was super dreamy and the composting toilet is perfectly situated so nobody can see you while you’re using it. The bed was super soft and comfy, and the sunrise was pink coming through the skylights. Can’t wait to stay here again, thanks so much!!

Banana Slug Haven!
One of a kind stay! The treehouse was very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. There are directions on how to use basically everything in the treehouse. Taking a hot shower in the middle of the 4 redwoods which support the house was incredible after a long day hiking. The composting toilet setup was also a pleasant surprise. The views from the in and around the treehouse are amazing as well. Two big panel windows are installed above the bed for impeccable views of the redwoods, stars, and sky. A truly magical place for relaxing and enjoying nature. Privacy was a concern after reading some other reviews, however, we personally had no concerns after checking it out. The grey cat is also super friendly!
