From hiking and fishing to boating, cycling, climbing or wine tours you will love cooling off in Hedley Creek's swimmin' hole' this summer. Everything you need for a relaxing and fun holiday is right here in our beautiful 'backyard' nestled between the Similkameen river and the majestic mountains.Nestled between river and mountains, Hedley is a small village with a big character! The scenery is absolutely spectacular. We have a local creek for cooling off in hot weather and are steps away from the Similkameen River for fishing, floating and water fun. Hiking and mountain biking are very popular here as well and there are plenty of trails into the wilderness. We are located about 40 minutes away from Apex mountain for winter recreation and summer fun. Three hours drive west along the beautiful Highway 3 will take you to Vancouver and we are about 15 minutes from Keremeos (fruit stands), 1.5 hours from Kelowna (lots of shopping), 50 minutes to Penticton (Beaches & lakes) and 30 minutes to Osoyoos (US Border). All over the Okanagan-Similkameen valley are wineries & wine-tasting tours to suit everyone's tastes! All your grocery and alcohol needs can be purchased at Hedley Country Market and the Hedley Heritage Gold Museum is a must-see! Hedley boasts plenty of local artists, a gift shop, an awesome cafe for your sweet tooth and lots of friendly folks!
