Turkey Point is a longstanding name of the camp site, well before we moved here. Turkey, deer, and all other wildlife sightings are very common here. The camp site and/or RV plug-in is just adjacent to a new construction cozy cabin we built (2023) for guests and designed for that rustic old-world barn feel, yet with all the modern comforts. Nested in the tree ... this guest house/cabin, and its pavilion, have bluff-views of Harkey Valley and Spring Mountain to the north, and verdant grazing pastures to the south. When we arrived on this site, we worked to re-open eventually the views and trail access to the land ... opening the woods for access and enjoyment. There is an RV electric panel on the side of the cabin with all three types of plugs (yes ... that's 25, 30, and 50 Amps), and city water (garden hose/tap). No septic dumping. Campfires: Fire-Bans dependent --- Fire ring and reasonable firewood provided. We are less than 2 miles from National Forests, 4 miles from Spring Lake, and about 12 miles from both Dardanelle and Danville.

Loved our stay at Turkey Point. Beautiful site, gravel, 30 amp service, plenty of firewood. Will definitely be back.

It’s a beautiful site right on Lake Cahoon. Extremely peaceful. It has electric and water hook ups. First Hipcamp site we have been to that offers those. We loved it.

Our Favorite
This is our 3rd stay! As always, Turkey Point was clean, well maintained, quiet, and relaxing! Coyt is an amazing host and responded super quickly to all communications before and during our stay. The spot is shaded with a great open grsss area where my grandkids enjoyed playing some T-ball. The hiking trails are perfect for little hikers to explore. We really enjoy the seclusion so our dogs can be off-leash and enjoy their camping trip too! We 💯 recommend.

Relax for the Fourth!
Great location on the water. We used kayaks and it was great being able to just beach them and not worry. The seclusion was perfect for me but with the water and woods kids kept busy the whole time! Great host very accommodating. We also have a Mastiff and Great Dane it was so nice to just let them wander around with no one to freak out.

One of our favorite spots!
We love this spot! This is our second stay. The first was five stars all the way. Seclusion, quiet, and privacy were highlights of our stay last time, however this time that was disrupted multiple times when 5 or 6 different times random people wandered into our space to view the property due to it currently being listed for sale. Coyt is a great host and the camp experience overall is great!
