Camp and enjoy nature on our Rocky Ridge of 180 acres located in the Ozark Mountains. Located along the scenic route highway 14 with several attractions and downtown located nearby. The property is mostly dense forest with lots of rock formations and bluffs with a spring fed creek that has several medium and small waterfalls that surround the property on 3 sides. The creek travels 3 miles from our property and empties into Bull Shoals Lake. Bull Shoals is a short 6 mile drive from the property. The land is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, turkey, bobcats, turtles, squirrels, and though we have never seen any black bear, we have been told they are here. Please be aware that along with all the wonders of wildlife, there may also be, ticks, mosquitoes, deer flies, snakes and other not so nice wildlife. Sit back and relax while you watch nature, beautiful sunrises, sunsets and stargaze at the beautiful night sky. We hope you will enjoy visiting as much as we enjoy living in this natural wonder of nature. Enjoy the remote wilderness while being just 10 minutes from town. Some of the most popular tourist attractions include: -Bulls Shoals Lake, a popular fishing destination, famous for its white large-mouth and spotted bass populations. It is considered a warm water lake on average and seldom freezes, it has no closed season. Ideal destination for those interested in tubing, wakeboarding, jet-skiing, swimming and boating. -Rush Ghost Town, a 1300-acre historic mining district that includes the buildings, structures, roadways and mines of the Rush mining area. -Buffalo National River, a world-renowned whitewater rafting destination -Bull Shoals Caverns, one of the world’s oldest limestone caverns in the Ozark mountain range -White River, a popular spot for fishing and canoeing -North Central Arkansas Speedway, Pure stock, Hobby/Factory stock, Super Stock, Modifieds, and Sportsman Late Models. Races every Friday night until October this year.

Logging Trail
I needed a place to park my truck and open my RTT. This spot was perfect for me. I was legally allowed to be there since I was a registered camper. It was convenient for me to get to Cotter and other fishing spots. It was safe saw and heard no one. There was a fire ban for the area due to drought but it would be a great place for a small fire and a few fishing buddies to tell stories about the day. When I come back in the Spring I’m going to make reservations again for the same spot.

Loved it, will try to visit again!
This site is setup well for the primitive camper. The canopy area is setup with lights that charge on solar, a sturdy table, and a large tank of water with a spout for washing (non-drinkable). The fire pit area was great, metal ring surrounded by rock and gravel, and they provided firewood. The area is spacious and remote, yet close enough to town if you need to go grab something. The hosts were very nice and polite, willing to help if needed! This location is also very close to the Buffalo National River, with plenty of trails to hike, caves, waterfalls, and all. I hiked the Indian Rock House trail, it was awesome. Great site, beautiful country. I would recommend this campsite to anyone who loves primitive camping and nearby adventure!

Camping spot to watch the eclipse
Great camping spot! Felt very remote yet not far from Yellville. At times you can hear the highway, but it didn’t bother us at all. Really nice setup with fire pit and logs to sit on. Plenty of firewood was provided. Great communication by the host! The spot was up a hill and the host noted that the path can be hard to navigate if it is muddy. We had no mud and no problem getting our Campervan up the trail. Thank you so much!

Excellent campsite
Holy cow! What an incredible spot. The hosts provided a great little patch of land to camp, set up a fire, set up your stuff on a nice table and more than we even thought we’d need. The woods are dense and full of life. We’d definitely stay there again.
