Enjoy the beauty of Arkansas sunsets on Kamp Kala's ten acres of farmland. The gentle slope to the hollow (behind our rustic barn) offers a beautiful view of woods and a clearing that deer pass through regularly. You can pitch your tent on the edge of our cozy back field with an amazing view of the stars, because of limited lighting from surrounding area. Porta potty, picnic table, and trash bins are shared by campers. The few dogs in the area are known to be friendly and may drop by for a visit...so you have been forewarned.Pitch your tent in our beautiful hidden meadow and relax with your own campfire. Guests will enjoy a 30X50 foot space to stretch out in a field-edge campsite near a wet weather creek. The open center of the field will provide a terrific view of the coming Solar Eclipse. Porta potty facilities are available on-site. A Dollar General and gas station are just a few minutes away for your convenience. The college town of Searcy is only fifteen minutes away and offers Southern hospitality served up by a variety of good restaurants. THE NEARBY HOUSE BELONGS TO A NEIGHBORING LANDOWNER...SO ANY ASSISTANCE/QUESTIONS SHOULD BE TEXTED TO ME. Please respect their privacy and solitude.

Really nice grass field, surrounded by three tree lines, and an adjacent field. The grass was recently mowed, and in general very well maintained. The available porta-potty may have been one of the cleanest I've seen. The land was flat, and tucked away just enough to really make it feel quiet private. A wonderful experience all around.

Great rural setting
This was a perfect spot for eclipse viewing. The directions to the entrance of the property were perfect. We were greeted within minutes and guided to a well-maintained meadow. I specifically chose a location with portapotty and it worked out just fine. Mornings were full of roosters crowing and chickens clucking. We made use of the fire ring and firewood purchased on site. All in all a good experience.

Secluded, Peaceful, and Amazing
Oh my goodness. This property is perfection! It’s tucked back, and surrounded by woods with privacy from the public. The land was easy to drive on with my Toyota Sienna that was loaded down. The host was as nice as can be, and made sure we had everything we needed before we arrived. We came in late, and he delivered our firewood before then to ensure we would be able to start a fire if we wanted. He also sent us links to solar eclipse events near our site in case we wanted to venture out. 🥰 His property has trash bins, a porta potty, and a picnic table for everyone to use. It’s about 20 minutes to town for supplies or restaurants. 10/10 would recommend, and am absolutely planning another stay here!

I loved the location. We were out of the way and able to enjoy seeing the stars. The host was super nice and accomodating.
