Our expansive property spans over 50 acres, providing breathtaking views of the beautiful southern sky—ideal for witnessing the April 08, 2024 solar eclipse! In addition to our stunning celestial views, we are privileged to have the magnificent Northfork Saline River meandering through our property, offering fantastic opportunities for floating or fishing. While we don't provide tents, we offer ample space for you to bring your own and set up camp. For your convenience, we have two portable toilets and a family-size outhouse available. For those seeking an unforgettable experience, venture to the top of the hill, where you'll be greeted by a breathtaking vista overlooking the town. Nature camping

I loved camping at JDs Farm. It is out of town by the Saline river. It is primitive camping. Not a bunch of people in big campers and golf carts. Me and nature is what I experienced. There is river access and a place to swim/wade that is very clean. There is Riverside gas / grocery within walking distance of camp. If you are self contained camper looking for a peaceful place to camp off of I30 in Benton...this is the place. JD and his wife were wonderful to deal with from booking, to giving directions and meeting/greeting me when I arrived.

Southern Memories

It's a great place for a quick overnight or longer if you are self-contained. He has several grassy farm fields and you can set up camp anywhere. There are some nice grassy areas by a small river. JD and fily are very friendly and welcoming. There was only one port-a john working during our stay which served our purposes (we camped near it).

We had a great spot by the river. No amenities there but we were self sufficient. The main field did have porta potties. JD and his wife were friendly and attentive. The place was clean and everything we hoped for to camp and enjoy the 2024 eclipse.

The owners were very nice and friendly, and the nature was excellent. Even let us stay for 2 extra hours to view the eclipse
