Site 1 - Happy Hippy Acres
A beautiful campground that felt relatively private. People do drive past campsite 1 to get to campsite #2, but that was rare and a non issue. There was a sizeable section of grass that had minimal rocks which was a great area for the tent. The campsite was pretty flat, the picnic table was in good condition, and the bathroom tent was a very nice touch. The drive to the campground was very pretty, but did have long stretches of gravel road. It was by no means treacherous, but just something to keep in mind when considering which vehicle to take. The Apple Maps took us right up to site and site #1 was well marked. The written directions were also precise and easy to follow. Loved this nice tucked away campground and look forward to my next visit to NWA.

Site 1 - Happy Hippy Acres
I was @ site #1 for one night. Great site - had a little trouble finding it but Jerry met me & got me there.
Main downside was proximity to the group site. It was just out of sight, but not out of sound. Unfortunately on my nite, there was a group of girls clearly there to celebrate something. A few who must have been late to the party drove thru my site on the way in around 11PM, honking & screaming all the way. Then the party ramped up for a bit, resurrecting around 1:30AM. Ugh.
Maybe signage posted for Quiet hours?

Real Backwood Camping
This camp site was amazing. If you want to really get away from everything this is the place. Our little electric car made it up the hill and throughout the area so most should be alright. The camping area was shaded during the hot day and the stars were as bright as could be at night. There is a gorgeous place to fish or swim close by and it's worth the 10 minutes drive. Come prepared because this is a real backwood camping spot with some nice luxuries added by the owners.

In the pines
Jerry and Jill are amazing hosts that manage a blissfully rustic retreat for campers. My wife and I camped a few nights here and absolutely hit the reset button in the pine trees.
We were unlucky enough to suffer two flat tires while we were out and about and Jerry came up with all the tools and expertise needed to get us back home from a much needed society detox.
This was our first time using HipCamp. If half of the other hosts are half as good as these folks, then this app will be how we find hidden gem campsites from now on.

10/10!!!
Jerry & Jill’s campsite was perfect! We only had time to do one night but are already thinking about when we could come back again. They provided a jug of water and firewood which was so kind. They also provided a sheet with directions to nearby swim spots. There was a group at site #1 and we couldn’t hear any talking or music, just the occasional door shutting. The gravel hill to the sites is steep and loose, but my RAV4 made it up okay.
