This is a small .62 acre lot in a forested area with privacy and seclusion. Located .1 miles from Museum of Automobiles and 1.5 miles from Petit Jean State Park. A recently completed circle drive allows Class B motorhomes or small trailers to access camping area near unnamed intermittent creek. We are furnishing a 6' picnic table, 3 Adirondack chairs, and 2 wooden camp chairs with table near the creek, along with a horseshoe court and two 10' X 10' walk-in tent pads near the creek. Petit Jean SP is Arkansas' first state park and is the second most visited park in Arkansas. Fabulous day hiking or overnight backpacking in and around the park and fishing in Lake Bailey. Nearby there is also a petting zoo, horseback riding and farmers market and small airport.Class B motor home and small trailers can access site using circle drive in and out of property. Raised tent pad areas are located North and South along creek that borders West end of property. There are neighbors three lots away who have a few well behaved dogs who are quite friendly. The long haired black and white dog hangs around the most. His name is Little Buddy.

Camp 62 on Petit Jean Mountain
This is a beautiful location and super close to Petit Jean State Park. Seriously, the site is gorgeous! However, the site is located on a lot right behind a house (not the Hipcamp owner’s). On the night I stayed, there was a man yelling profanities at a woman. It was hard to tell if it was a house party or just a typical night at this house. As a solo camper (with a young child), I only stayed one night instead of the two I booked. There was also lots of car/atv activity at the house throughout the day and night - this didn’t bother me, but may diminish the camping experience for those seeking solitude.

Perfect Eclipse Trip
We had a great time at this location. We camped here for the 2024 Eclipse, and it was a great value for the money, a very clean site, and perfect location. The dogs nextdoor WILL bark at you, but once they see you in daylight, everything is fine, and they are very friendly, and well-behaved. Be sure to bring a camping toilet (we did) as there's no place nearby with public restrooms, especially if you need to go at night. Frank is very friendly, and helpful — the perfect host.

This was a perfect spot- Close to all of the Petit Jean activities, but a private retreat to come home to. A lot of tlc went into this place, and it shows! We will definitely be back.

Into The Woods
It was my second visit and as great as the first! It was such a great experience for me solo camping the first time and I had to bring my husband this time! The owner is putting a lot of work into the site to make it even more amazing. We had fun playing horse shoes, hanging in our hammocks and a starry night! It is nice to be close to Petit Jean but to be in total seclusion. To see all the people at the state park and then know that all you will hear at your campsite is nature. Great place, highly rated, we will be returning.
