Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are excited to be in the total eclipse path! We will be sectioning off for RVs and tents to dry camp on our property. We have a beautiful 80 acre farm with a gorgeous 10 acre pond full of fish. Its a lovely idyllic setting with grassy fields and lots of space to move around. Plenty of space to tent camp or dry camp with an RV. We are minutes away from 3 Corps of Engineer Federal Parks to bring your boat to put in for the day and enjoy our massive clean clear lake.We are opening our property just for the Eclipse. We are almost dead center of the total black out at over 4 minutes and one of the better locations to have a clear sky. We are requiring you book 5 days. You can come a few days before and after but we are charging for the five days from Thursday April 4th through April 9th. The traffic is supposed to be really bad and just want people in and settled. You will have to be self contained and bring enough food and water for the 5 or more days. We will have a snack shack set up but not meals. Our property consist of idyllic 80 acres with beautiful vistas and gorgeous sunsets. We have wonderful bass fishing in our 10 acre pond but we are also close to 3 major corp of engineer parks. We are 2 minutes down the road to Shiloh marina to put you boat in to go fishing on Greers Ferry Lake. We are in the middle of 2 other Corp of Engineer Parks, The Narrows and Devils Fork. All have bathhouses and dump stations for the $5 park admission or the yearly US park pass gets you in for free. We have several areas on our property available for dry camping. We are in a quiet area with dark skies on moonless nights with thousands of stars to enjoy.
