Sacred Springs 🌿 A phenomenal, sacred riparian corridor, Sacred Springs offers a retreat for those seeking nature’s serenity 🌅 and spiritual renewal. Just upstream from the iconic Montezuma Castle National Monument and downstream from the enchanting Montezuma Well, it’s a place of deep connection. Your journey begins long before you arrive 🚗, as you enter the sacred river valley and embark on the primitive road ⚠️ leading to our desert oasis 🌵. From our campsites ⛺, you’ll have the remarkable opportunity to witness the echoes of the past and the pulse of the present, with the nearby I-17 highway tracing the path of this ancient route. As travelers journey along this prehistoric corridor 🚶‍♂️, their footsteps echo those of countless generations who traversed these lands long before us. Driving atop the mesa 🚙, you'll feel the powerful energy of the desert envelop you 🏜️. By the time you reach Sacred Springs, you’ll sense the immense potential for transformation and connection that awaits 🌾. Our campsites boast breathtaking, panoramic views 🌄 overlooking the powerful confluence of Wet Beaver Creek and Dry Beaver Creek. 🌊. While Sacred Springs offers a serene retreat amidst natural beauty 🌳, it’s important to be mindful of the inherent dangers ⚠️ of this unique landscape. Perched on a cliff 60 feet above the creek 🏞️, our property offers stunning views 🌅 and peaceful surroundings—but it also requires care and vigilance 👀. The terrain is steep and unforgiving 🪨, reminding us to slow down and savor each moment mindfully ⏳. (Please remain on trails at all times 👣.) With every step, it’s crucial to stay fully present, ensuring proper footing 👟 and safe navigation. As you explore the wonders of Sacred Springs 💧, let this be an opportunity to hone your senses 🌿 and deepen your connection with the earth 🌍. Embrace the challenge of traversing the rugged terrain 🏔️, knowing that each cautious step brings you closer to the heart of this sacred sanctuary 🕊️. Travel back in time by immersing yourself here in the wonderful history of the Verde Valley 🏜️. Enter the cave, and ponder the daily lives of the ancient cliff dwellers. This land holds the echoes of a prehistoric community that thrived here, utilizing irrigation for farming and dwelling in cliffside abodes. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to reconnect with yourself 🫵✨ and heal ❤️‍🩹. Relax, fully immersed in a natural riparian corridor 🌳, as you hike along the creek💧. Find your peace in one of our hammock swings beside the water, or witness the breathtaking sunrise and sunset 🌅 from the best seat in Arizona 🌵. With mindfulness and respect for the land 🏜️, may your visit be one of discovery 🔍, growth 🌱, and profound reverence for the natural world 🐍. Cliffside Camp at Sacred Springs
Beautiful & thoughtful campground!
My husband and I loved tent camping on Gary and Darren's beautiful property! The campground was super clean and safe, and it was so full of thoughtful amenities that it was basically glamping! The hosts are so perfectly gracious and all directions were thorough and clear. It's within walking distance of the Sedona Wolf Sanctuary so you can walk to a tour from your campsite! Little trails lead to lovely sitting areas, a cool cave, and a lazy river. We wish we were there longer than one night so we could enjoy everything. Thank you again!

Mountain View Camp - Sacred Springs
A Must Stay Campsite!
Gary and Daren were the kindest hosts!! They truly have thought of anything and everything you could need, from having extra sleeping bags and tents available to having fun little things to do around property. Hiking down and having some fun at their private river access with kayaks and paddle boards (both already set up and provided by the hosts) was possibly our favorite part of the trip. They’ve created such a safe and beautiful space. I definitely will be coming back on my future trips up north.

Cliffside Camp at Sacred Springs
Darren and Gary were excellent hosts that have created an incredible experience on their land. 2 sites and a small cabin keep it a private experience as well. The community kitchen is stocked very well with anything you’d need. The best part is the waterfront along Beaver Creek. We only spent one night, but could’ve easily spent several days down by the water. The wolf sanctuary just down the hill is an added bonus.

Short visit.
I stopped in for a one night visit just to have a look at the area. I was really impressed with the site and all the work that has gone into it. Gary and Darrell were lovely and gracious, making it clear that they would do what they could to make my visit enjoyable. I hope to return in the near future.

This place is called Sacred for all the right reasons. From the hosts, to the land itself, this camping experience was supreme, and above all others. Looking forward to returning over and over again!

Cliffside Camp at Sacred Springs
Cool place!
My buddy and I had a great time here! The cave and paddle boards were a cool surprise. Great views for the sunset and sunrise and the hosts Gary and Darren were super friendly and accommodating. They were available if needed and also left you alone. I’d recommend this spot! The drive in is a little off the beaten path, I drive a Honda civic and it was fine but I had to pick my spots around rocks and pot holes. 100% fine but a truck is recommended! Also you can hear the wolves from the sanctuary at night and in the morning, very cool.
