Welcome to Rogue's Rendezvous, a private wooded acre near the Grand Canyon. Almost “glamping,” our family and pet-friendly RV camp is near Williams, AZ, "the Gateway to the Grand Canyon." This is a great place to begin your Northern Arizona adventures, gather with family and friends, rest your body and spirit, or stop over on your road trip. This is a unique site and we want our guests to be happy and comfortable. PLEASE REVIEW THE FULL SITE DESCRIPTION and AMENITIES BEFORE REQUESTING A RESERVATION. Unlike typical RV parks, we offer a full acre for your private camping experience; you do not have to share this site with others. The area is fully fenced so you, your well-behaved dogs and kids can run free. The privacy and amenities – somewhere between “rustic” and “glamping” – make Rogue’s Rendezvous a unique space and an excellent staging ground for gatherings and area adventures. Rogue’s Rendezvous is off the beaten path but easy to access (on a well-maintained dirt road) and close to many area points of interest. The property is located off Historic Route 66 (Interstate 40) between Williams and Flagstaff, and an hour south of the Grand Canyon (south entrance). We welcome clean, respectful campers to enjoy our "happy place." The property is in a shady and quiet pine-studded development and is accessed via a sliding gate (somewhat heavy to open). The site is gently sloping with red earth driveways and has three spaces to easily park various RV types with hookups (including electrical and septic only, NO WATER); the RV “carport” that is adjacent to the covered deck can accommodate RVs less than 13 ft high. Full instructions and a site map with hookup locations will be sent with check-in instructions. NOTES: KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! - CELLand Internet Service: This area is somewhat remote, but does have limited cell service – calls are ok, texts work, but texting images or media may not be possible. There is NO WI-FI or internet service here. This is a great opportunity to disconnect and enjoy being “off the grid.” - ELEVATION: We are at an elevation of approximately 6400 feet. Take care of yourself to avoid altitude sickness! Drink lots of water, rest plenty, and pay attention to your body. - WEATHER: The weather can change dramatically throughout the day and the year here. Please come prepared for anything, and please check expected conditions prior to camping. Winter conditions may prevent site access between October and April. - There are TRAIN TRACKS nearby (approx. ¼ mile away), and we can hear the humming of passing trains, both during the day and at night. We do not find it problematic (our kids don’t even notice) and some of us find trains fun and exciting (we enjoy watching the train crossing a couple of miles down the road). However, if you are sensitive to noise, this might not be the right place for you. TO DO NEARBY: - hiking, lakes, Historic Williams, Grand Canyon, Bearizona, Rt. 66, and so much more.Near Williams, AZ, “The Gateway to the Grand Canyon,” our fully fenced and wooded camp offers RV electrical and septic hookups (water is limited), has space for tents, a covered deck, a dog run, and lots of fun. THIS IS A UNIQUE SITE AND WE WANT OUR GUESTS TO BE HAPPY AND COMFORTABLE. PLEASE REVIEW THE FULL SITE DESCRIPTION and AMENITIES BEFORE REQUESTING A RESERVATION.

GLAMPING WITH MY DOGS
My dogs, Maggie and Bob, had the time of their lives......running, romping, playing. Being the joy-filled free spirits they were meant to be. And I savoured my safe and secure retreat space.....reading, journaling, yoga stretching on the deck. Very peaceful. I was fully self contained in a small motorhome, but having that extra deck space was wonderful. We definitely will be back.

Cozy Retreat
Overall we had a really nice experience! Having the covered areas and electricity was very nice especially for our friends who camped in tents. The fence was a huge positive for us to be able to let our dog and kids wander the property. The proximity to Williams and Flagstaff was very convenient and the landscape was absolutely beautiful. I will say the trains were a lot more of a nuisance than we expected. They didn’t bother us very much in our camper but they went by every 10-15 minutes and blew their whistles at all hours of the night which was very disruptive for the tent campers. Due to the fridge and toilet were not working along with the train noise I would say this property is best used by RV’s/campers rather than tents but overall we still had a wonderful time.

Rogue's Rendezvous
Rogues Rendezvous is a wonderful site to stay! We loved being on a property filled with pine trees and letting our dogs run around the fenced-in acre. We were lucky to be able to hear the breeze through the pines and elks bugling! The deck/shelter was great, we were able to stay in the shade during the day and dry when it rained at night. We were a bit disappointed by the fridge not working. It was very dirty and moldy and only the freezer portion stayed cool enough to refrigerate food. Also, three out of the four propane tanks onsite were empty so we were lucky we were able to manage with one. Also, just to note the toilet takes about 3-4 gallons to flush, so if you need to pack in water to use the toilet just keep that in mind. Had we known about all of this beforehand we could have planned and prepared better and enjoyed our stay more. We would absolutely come back if the fridge is fixed and if the water pump is running to supply water for the toilet!

Good/Not so good
Overall we had a good experience. 1 acre completely fenced and private was awesome. Automatic gate being broken and requiring great physical effort to open / close each time you go exploring was no fun at all. Choice of three RV sites somewhat misleading, site 1 was off camber but doable with enough leveling blocks, covered site excellent providing you don't have opposing slide outs, we did, with precise positioning it worked okay however we had no access to our storage compartments. Site 3 would have been a good option however it was overgrown with 4 ft weeds therefore making it a no-go. Host clearly states there is no water and that was true there was zero in the tank which means no use of the toilet in the garage so tent campers beware you must have a fully self-contained RV. Covered deck is super nice having a fire pit and propane heater is a nice touch however all of the propane tanks were empty requiring us to make a 1 hour round trip into town to have propane filled. As stated in the description trains are constant day and night we counted on average 50 to 75 every day, definitely takes away from that easy peaceful feeling. Having to pack out several days of garbage plus the ripped up remnants of a previous guest dog bed discarded under the deck (yes we left site cleaner than found it) was inconvenient at best. There are two water delivery providers in the neighborhood plus garbage service so don't understand lack of amenities at this price point.

Great for dogs!
Great wooded site with easy access. Loved that the entire acre was fenced for our dog. Cute patio to enjoy meals on.
