Our story is short. We bought this land in 2012 and it was barren. We have created a nice sanctuary with trees, a pond, and relaxing hangout areas. We are artists and biologists. Our children are homeschooled. We have fresh eggs to share from our lovely ducks. Yes, Ducks have really nutritious eggs and they taste just like chicken eggs. We also have three dogs that are friendly. We are 20 minutes to climbing areas (Promised Land and The Dells), Sedona is an hour away, Prescott is 35 minutes, Grand Canyon is !.5 hours, the Verde River is 40 minutes one way and an hour and 15 in the other direction. You are welcome to set up a tent or bring your RV. We hope you'll camp here.Park your RV under our huge Elm tree or near the fire pit. This is an off grid rv spot. You will have shade, a fire ring ( useable when there’s no fire restrictions). You are welcome to hook up to water. There is a picnic table and a small grill. We are thirty minutes to downtown Prescott. We are 20 minutes to Promised land climbing and five minutes from Sullivan dam canyon climbing. We are 20 minutes from the Garchen Buddhist Institute. Sedona is 1 hour. The Grand Canyon is about 1 hour 15 minutes. We are on 3 acres. We are fenced and allow friendly dogs only. We have 3 dogs on property. We also live on this property. Quiet hours start at 10p.m. This is a dry site. You can use water but there is no RV hookups. Off grid camping only. No quad riding in the yard. There is a picnic table for your outdoor use. You are welcome to use the hammocks.

I had a great camping experience at Josephine’s site in Chino Valley. I brought a tent, (no RV, this site would be great for a one or a trailer) and set up by the fire pit and picnic table. There was plenty of shade trees which helped keep the camp cool. One of the best things was the morning visit by the three friendly dogs. Not obtrusive, they would come by for ear rubs and tail wags. Josephine was great showing the site. Highly recommended.
