Our 20 acre historic homestead is nestled in the forests of northern Arizona on the edge of the Coconino and Kaibab national forests. We currently offer one camping site with a private fire pit (fires allowed when permitted by the County). We have a community bathroom house, outdoor water station for dish & hand washing, a disc golf course, cornhole boards, community fire pit, BBQ, 1/2 mile trail loop and a meditation path all onsite. Our property is the perfect spot for stargazing as we are far away from light pollution. We have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy all while immersed in the peace and quiet of nature. We also have hummingbird feeders near the community area so you can watch the majestic and beautiful birds. We live onsite as well but on the other side of the property. We look forward to hosting you! : )*WINTER CAMPING IN EFFECT* PLEASE BE ADVISED - LOW TEMPS AND SNOW POSSIBLE OCT 15th - APR 2025 Camp spot #1 is situated in the Ponderosa Pines. It's a peaceful spot immersed in nature. 2 sides of our property are bordered by the National Forest. Guests will enjoy their own flat camping spot, private fire pit, picnic table, and high-top tables mounted in the trees (a perfect place to prep and make your meals). Guests will have access to a communal bathroom house (small green building) with a sink and toilet just a 2 minute walk away. There are no hookups at this site but potable water is available at dishwashing station. Guests will have access to a community BBQ, corn hole boards, a community fire pit, meditation path (called the Labyrinth of Love and Light) and a disc golf course. PLEASE BE ADVISED - WE ARE ENTERING FALL/WINTER AND OUR NIGHTTIME LOWS ARE DIPPING BELOW 30 DEGREES.

Ponderosa Pines Campsite

Lovely Family and Amazing Getaway

We had an amazing experience! Justin and Rachel were lovely hosts, from the warm greeting to the helpful assistance with airing up our RV tire. They have created a peaceful and beautiful camping experience. The camp spot came equipped with a table, benches, a propane stove, a hammock, a fire pit, a clean indoor restroom, and indescribable beauty. Our dogs were in heaven. We walked the path around the campsite and appreciated the memorial labyrinth. We trekked to the nearby gem, a small canyon with cool water, where our dogs swam with joy and enthusiasm. I couldn't recommend the Camp spot more!!! It was perfect!

Ponderosa Pines Campsite

Land of happiness 😊

Justin & Rachel certainly go above and beyond. Tent site is enormous & private with extra details to make it comfortable. I enjoyed waking up with the rooster, horse neighing from nearby, occasional coyotes in the distance, all very pleasant. Their home is nearby enough to hear the sound of the family laughing and enjoying life but never intrusive, just the sound of happiness. They are making an incredibly inviting space on their land. Don't forget to hike to the swimming hole, quite beautiful. Aside from the exceptional details, they are quick to assist. I got a flat tire while I was there and couldn't get the lug nuts off and Justin came to the rescue within minutes and removed my tire and installed the spare, along with little helper, Brock, a dynamic duo ☺️. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy their property, you won't be sorry.

Ponderosa Pines Campsite

Justin and Rachel's land is a serene and quiet wonderland of tall trees and consideration. They've put a lot of heart and time into creating a space where your needs are met and bases are covered, no matter your previous outdoor experience. I was so grateful to have such a peaceful place to land on my way through Arizona and would happily return again.

Natural beauty and beyond🤌

This property was so cool. It was a an incredible experience to tent camp in the silence of the wilderness. Walking to the sites around the campground were so refreshing! Really love that Justin & Rachel provide a fully working toilet and sink (with warm water)! One of my favorite bonuses was the countertop to make for easy cooking duties and the sink. We didn’t even need our sleeping pad because the site was so level. Watching the sunrise by the mountains in the morning from their bench was unmatched. Thank you for such a beautiful experience.

Ponderosa Pines Campsite

Campsite with perks!

A really lovely camping experience in the Ponderosa Pines. The site was beautiful but the special touches at the spot really made this camping trip great. The dish wash station was AWESOME and the cooking station was so convenient—we do a ton of campsite cooking so this was a real bonus. Also loved that we could pick our own firewood; we kept a fire going all evening just picking up pieces of pine steps away from the fire ring. We will definitely be back!

The hosts are wonderful people. The property is beautiful. The toilet house is clean, and we had a great time camping there!
