Heritage District is home to our weekly Farmer’s Market, a bike trail along the canal, splash pad, parks, restaurants, breweries, cocktail lounges, bars, and shopping. This area is known for being safe, friendly, and very walkable. The RV spot is a 0.3 mile walk to a fish taco shop, a cocktail lounge and an art gallery, 0.4 mile walk away from the Farmer’s Market, the nearest ice cream shop and a historic BBQ restaurant, 0.5 mile walk to a performing arts venue, a dog friendly brewery with a dog “spaw”, and an arcade! We love it here and think you will too.Welcome to the Heritage District of Gilbert. This area is know for being safe, friendly and walkable. When you arrive, you will back in through an RV gate onto a crushed granite, level pad. The pad is 22 feet wide and 82 feet long, perfect for RVs with slide-outs and patios. When you are ready, you are free to use the 30 amp or 50 amp electric hookups, cold water spigots, and city sewage hookups. Street parking is available. Once you are settled, take a short walk to downtown where you can explore places to eat, drink and have fun! Attention pet owners! This spot is perfect for you and your animals. Open up your RVs door for your pet to run around the backyard safely and securely. The backyard is shared with the owners, There is a very dog friendly brewery with a doggie “spaw” walking distance from the RV spot. Sherry and Wes made us feel at home, and we didn't want to leave. It's the best place we have ever stayed!

Historic Downtown Gilbert Get Away
Great host. Met us as we arrived and helped us to park and set up. Beautiful site with nice fenced yard for our dogs to run. Sherry sent us a lot of information before we arrived about restaurants, bars and shops to visit. The location is PERFECT! We walked to many locations. Great farmers market also. We will definitely return.

Superb space and fantastic hosts. This spot next to Downtown Gilbert was a true blessing to stay for a few nights. Sherry and James were fantastic and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

Clean, easy, friendly, helpful, affordable. This spot had everything we needed! Very close (walking distance) to downtown Gilbert which has many bars/restaurants with fun outdoor seating! Thank you!!

Great hosts and great location!
The hosts are extremely hospitable and nice, they were always available for any need that came up. The spot was very easy to navigate in and out of, it was very kept up and level. The laundry access was a phenomenal perk. They even had plenty of kids things to help entertain our toddler. Great overall location, we walked into downtown Gilbert almost everyday. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it to 21 days. I would highly recommend this spot.

Sherry and James were incredible hosts, providing everything we could need - all the right hookups, access to laundry and trash disposal, and a lovely place to overnight as we passed through. Gilbert is a great location and we were able to walk to a variety of wonderful local restaurants. Thank you for the kind hospitality!
