Quiet, nice, clean
This is a really quiet, nice, clean camping area. The spaces are large. Easy access from paved road. Just the final 500 feet or so of the private drive is hard dirt. Even the portable restroom was very clean. David is very friendly and met me on arrival.

Outstanding!
This is an amazing place to see! It was so cozy to sleep under the stars, though the wind is howling! Many more amenities than I expected to see from this gorgeous place.

Wonderful host and site
David was such a great host! We booked for a primitive site, but ended up staying in the teepee, which is very sturdy. It was a very memorable experience. The teepee itself was very cozy and came with a propane camping grill and a propane heater, which really saved us when morning called for frost. We loved the books and traveling journals by David. The camp itself was great. There was plenty of firewood and a fire ring. The ring came with a bucket of water so you didn't have to worry about it, which was great in the desert. The bathroom was a portapotty, which usually sends me running, but these were immaculate and felt like a regular restroom. The road into the site is dirt, so keep that in mind. We drove a sedan in with no issues, but it was also dry during our stay.
Overall, we really look forward to coming back and seeing Stormy and Roadie!

This was AMAZING
From the moment we set foot on the property, we were warmly welcomed by our gracious host, David, and his delightful dog, Stormy. The intro to the amenities proved to be a pleasant surprise, as it was evident that thoughtful consideration had been given to ensure our comfort and convenience. The place was generously equipped with essentials such as tables, chairs, and lanterns, as well as a sofa bed and an air mattress for a restful night's sleep. The provision of a stove top for our culinary needs and a space heater for those chilly evenings was much appreciated. The addition of two picnic tables added a delightful outdoor dining option.
An unexpected bonus was the nearby porter potty, which was, quite possibly, the cleanest we've ever encountered. The only items we found necessary to bring along were food, water, and sleeping bags.
The tepee itself radiated a sense of coziness that immediately made us feel at home. The surrounding land, flat and with minimal visual obstructions, provided a picturesque backdrop for both sunrise and sunset. The nighttime in this place carried its own unique charm. The sounds of coyotes howling and roaming the land added a wild, untamed touch to the experience. It was as if nature was putting on a live performance, reminding you of the thrilling proximity of wildlife
In essence, this place fuses simplicity with comfort and natural beauty, creating a unique experience that invites you to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of home.

We stopped here for one night on the way to Grand Canyon. The best place and the best host!!! Tipi was a great experience. The sky was full of stars and we could hear coyotes howling. David was very helpful.

What a fantastic setup! The tipis were spacious, well apportioned with everything we needed including Coleman stove, outdoor chairs, sofa, recliner, etc. Such a great setting in the desert, close (20 miles-ish) to Bisbee, and the crane wintering area. David was very attentive, helpful, and met us upon arrival. Highly recommend this Hipcamp!
