We have owned this property for two years and are constantly making improvements. It has been a fun adventure and we really look forward to hosting you! I operate a leather business from my home and offer classes in leatherworking for beginners. You can view my work on Facebook or Instagram at Hexistential Lab Leatherworks. Learn more about this land: Get away from the winter traffic! Park outside of town and experience the culture of Yuma County. Nearby access to the B main lateral canal for an early morning walk or bike ride. Less than 30 minutes to the Mexican ports of entry at Algodones and San Luis. You will likely hear Mariachi bands and livestock well into the night, as there is no noise ordinance in the county. Everyone around has chickens, goats, cows, horses, mules, peacocks, etc. Plenty of room to accommodate your large rig! We look forward to meeting you

Yuma County Cactus Camp
We stayed here as a way station for my dental work in Algodones. Dayme was a great host but we didn’t need much assistance. They set us up with water and electricity and told us to contact them if we needed anything. It was vey hot the days we were there and there were flies that were bothersome in the afternoon but went away in the evening. It was a farm area so there are many roosters crowing goats baaing and cows mooing. We were scheduled for 5 days but the dental work was completed early and we left after our 3 day stay. We spent some time enjoying and dining in old town Yuma. We enjoyed our trip and the hosts were accommodating and helpful.

Warm welcome and great stay!
We absolutely loved this property (and family!). After 2 months in Baja, troubles with our RV and rescheduling due to a breakdown, we were so thankful for reliable electric, level parking and water. Dayme and her family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even invited us to see her leather workshop and sip on some homemade mead! It has been a highlight stay of ours for sure! Be sure to ask about her work, it’s stunning!

Heavenly Night in Somerton
This is a family run machine! From mead to leather goods to gardens and honey, this is a talented and close bunch! Nice long even driveway. Provided electric and garbage. Leashed pets welcomed! Large property with beautiful landscaping! Owners/Hosts are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable of the surrounding area and beyond gracious!! Nights consist of birds, chickens, peacocks, horses, mules, coyotes and mariachi songs off in the far, far distance. Amazing sounds and sights! Slept like a queen in the peaceful and safe surroundings. Will be coming back again and again!! Appreciative and Grateful for the opportunity to have met this family and to experience their wonderful energy! Definitely stop in!! You will not be disappointed!

Great experience. Super-nice, funny hosts, Very welcoming to us and our little doodle. Their driveway is smooth, beautiful and level. The mourning doves, mockingbirds, and roosters provided the soundtrack.

Great place to stay while in Yuma!
We enjoyed our visit very much! Members of Dayme's family greeted us as we arrived and helped get us set up with the water and power. The parking spot gave lots of room for our slides and our toad. The hosts were very friendly and enjoyed chatting with them. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity presented itself.
