This place was great, we were never bored. My 7 and 8yr old played all day on the slides, swings, basketball court, swimming pond and fishing pond. We all enjoyed the petting zoo and many horses and cows around. The tents were roomy and bed comfy, the swamp cooler and fans kept us comfortable. Our host Patrick was awesome and very accommodating. I definitely recommend families come here.

A a moving
I brought my 2 youngest daughters (8 & 4). They had a blast, just enjoying the Nature that surrounded us!
Our tent was comfy and relaxing! The bed was so comfortable, I didn’t want to leave!
There was a fire pit sitting there ready for me when I wanted to get it started! Hospitality, Hospitality, Hospitality- that’s all I can say! There’s nothing they didn’t think about ahead of time!

Exceeded expectations!!!!
Immediately welcoming atmosphere with very accommodating hosts! Be sure to chat with them because they’ll most definitely let you know where the wild nature gems are located and how to access them (really appreciated that, so cool!) the set-up matched the photos exactly and the rest of the campers were also really mellow, easy-going people! No doubt anyone that comes here will have an excellent experience.

Glamping at it's finest.
The pro's: Glamping at it's finest! The amenities are off the charts as an avid tent and trailer camper. You could literally drive out and bring nothing, and have everything you need. Things I didn't even realize that were a part of the booking (fresh towels for showering, and a cooler to take out for picnics and day excursions) were the icing on the cake! As we were making the trek from Los Angeles, we packed up everything, folding table, coffee press, towels, etc. But Patrick, our on-site host extraordinaire, had everything and more.
The grounds: The tents are a little closer together than we had expected, but were the perfect distance for making new friends and creating a communal feel. We ended up adopting a solo traveler into our group, and had a few nights of festive music and dancing. Definitely get the propane pit as an add on, and consider the s'mores package! You can apparently rent out the entire campsite as an option as well, something we might consider for future! It would make a great destination wedding, or family re-union location.
Surrounding area: There are many creeks in the area, ask Patrick for some recommendations, or follow the signs to Hagler Creek. It's about 25 minutes driving to get to some great places to spend the day soaking up the sun, dipping your feet in the creek, and exploring the local terrain.
Food: We had opted to order dinner through the vineyard prior to our trip, and had the most delicious dinner of Prime Rib, Mushroom soup, mashed potatoes, dill covered green beans and fresh horseradish. I have no doubt breakfast is also impressive, but we had packed a whole weekend's worth of food. Andrew provided friendly and prompt service from the vineyard, and while the vineyard dining room itself was limited due to COVID, the food and wine were impressive. We enjoyed the Devious, a tasty red that paired perfectly with dinner.
Toilets and showers: The toilet and shower "house" were built when we arrived, they are extremely well kept and stocked, adding an extra bonus of luxury to our camping. The hot water is only solar currently, but they are installing a propane heater for longer hot showers. In the meantime, I recommend showering in the evening when the water has been warmed all day.
The con's: The pictures have been removed off this listing since, but when we booked, it showed the tent next to a creek. That wasn't what we discovered when we arrived, but we quickly felt at home in our surroundings, and Patrick was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Some of the tents are relatively close to the Vineyard building, but also have expansive views of the desert sky for colorful sunsets and star gazing. When you aim your chairs toward the views, you forget the other buildings are even there. We had a myriad of skies to engage us, from a light rain storm, lighting showers, billowing clouds, and clear skies full of stars.
