I loved tent camping at this location! We were in the Arena Mayham site and it was a semi fenced old horse area (horses on the other side of the right fence line, are curious and kind), with a pond full of wildlife on the left side of the fence. Although a view of the main house and Airbnb on site, it still feels very private and quiet. We were also able to explore out into the trails on the property, specifically a grassy, area called the meadows where our 3 dogs, ran and jumped through the tall forest floors. Our 3 dogs had a blast and felt very comfortable on the site, would recommend for all dogs to join with you on this site! The site is also close the Pembina River and we spent a day on the water, before heading back to sure for a lovely fire, with fire wood delivered directly to the site by the host! Bundled of wood ($25), last 1-2 nights depending on the size and duration of the fire, we were burning decent fires and sat around for hours! Once the fire is out and heading off to bed, don't forget to take a peek up to the sky, the stars are bright and beautiful! A recommendation is to bring a canopy or something to use for shade! We went during the heat wave in July (+28-32), and were grateful to have brought a canopy to provide a break from the beating sun. As always make sure to bring lots of water! Kate, the host is communicative, fair and was helpful throughout the whole weekend!
