A wonderful hidden oasis in the farmland prairies. 20 minutes away from Crawling Valley reservoir and Lake McGregor. Large firepit with wood provided. Composting outhouse and access to electricity if needed. We live on the property and will be going about our daily chores, but offer as much privacy as possible. Chicken, ducks and turkey that you can feed (they LOVE food scraps). Our dogs, Thor and Freya free roam among the property. They are Maremma guardian dogs, so will go on 'patrol' and bark, so please be aware of that. They will take all the cuddles you can give, and are safe around kids, but since they are a large dog, they are heavy, and do like to "paw" when they want more attention. They are also excellent with other animals, but meets and greets are a must at first.Private treed field. lots of birds Siksika Nation and Blackfoot museam less than 5 km away Drumheller is 1 hours away Crawling Valley, Lake McGregor, Kinbrook Island are all with a 15-60 min drive Bow River access very close. Composting toilet. Our toilet is a very old outhouse. We have added peatmoss and other organic matter to aid in the composting. There will be a container for you to add a scoop to the toilet after you have finished your business.

On leash. On leash preferred because we live close to a busy highway.

Bottled water or jugs. There is irrigation water available on site as well.

Bins available

Compost bin, recycling bin, trash bin. any organic food, feel free to give the food to our animals.

We have an older wooden playground on site, and there is a newer playground across the street in the town

No shower on site...yet. We may have an outdoor shower set up of we have time to do this year.

we do have wifi with the main property, signal is patchy, but we can provide the password on arrival.
