The farmhouse has two large rooms available. We also offer primitive one room cabins There are many back country trails, promising a true wilderness experience to off roaders whether on foot, on a bike, or atv. Our dock is a good place to launch small craft. A paved bike trail connects to Talkeetna or the ParksBeautiful modern farmhouse on Christiansen Lake Beautiful Farmhouse on the lake shore, just outside Talkeetna, Alaska, offering accommodation to adult guests. Two large rooms with private baths. Each suite has one king bed. The upper suite opens onto a huge balcony overlooking fields and forest toward the lake. Large glass enclosed shower and deep bathtub. Update: The first floor suite has rented for the season Guests have use of the kitchen, dining area, sitting room and balcony, on the main floor. Parking is available at the main entrance. Christiansen Lake offers crystal clear water for swimming, canoe paddling, and fishing. Talkeetna Lakes Park, extends these opportunities. The park offers maintained trails for easy strolling, bird watching and moose sightings. Other trails beckon hikers to explore to true back country adventures. Our quaint little Talkeetna town offers numerous dining places, a very well regarded brewery and a museum of local history, with a building devoted to towering Denali Mountain, to the north. The airport famously provides mountain viewing flights. Power boat tours carry visitors to the Talkeetna River canyon and along the Chulitna and Susitna Rivers. Taiga Tooth offers guests semi remote camping at two properties. Primitive sites are available at these hike-in locations. Prepared campsites are available for guests who wish to enjoy their hike unencumbered by weighty back packs. Advance planning is required. Dogs are permitted at an additional charge. Documented service animals are permitted. No cats allowed.
