END OF SEASON DEALS! STAY FOR JUST $20 A NIGHT. $5 EXTRA IF YOU WANT POWER! My wife and I have a single quiet spot on our peaceful wooded property on the Anchorage hillside on 3 acres. We can accommodate short duration stays of 1-4 days. We have household power and potable water available. We do NOT have an RV dump, although you can dump for free at the Holiday gas station about 10 minutes from the site. We have bear spray and bells available to loan at no charge! We have four dogs, and your quiet well behaved dogs are welcome. Depending on where you park you'll be able to access 1gb wifi from our house.Hello and welcome to Hideaway Camp! Here you'll rent out a single spot on our 3 acre property on the Anchorage hillside. This is a safe, quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of Anchorage. You will be the only ones camping! We are situated on about three acres and the RV spot backs up to the woods. Amenities include delicious potable water, 120V 20amp household electric, a fire ring, trash and recycling, and free fast wifi. We do not have sewer dump service, however there is a free dump at the Holiday gas station about 10 minutes down the hill. Our camp is ideal for those transitioning through Anchorage on their way to the Kenai peninsula or northbound to Talkeetna, Denali and beyond. The camp is about 15-20 minutes from most RV rental companies and the airport! If this is short notice send me a message and I should be able to accommodate you!

Quiet campsite, pleasant area
Quiet and peaceful location away from the city center. Water is available for free, and electricity for $5 extra. Host Ethan is very friendly and has good communication. I would recommend this for an RV stay in Anchorage, much better than an RV park.

Perfect camping close to Anchorage
We’ve had an amazing stay! The spot is spacious, quiet and still close to Anchorage. Ethan and Kim really went out of their way to make us feel at home. They provide everything you might need and are so helpful. It was great to meet them and have dinner together. A spot we would definitely recommend to anyone!

A+ in Anchorage!
Staying at Ethan’s hideaway camp made for an absolutely perfect 3 night stay in Anchorage. Ethan and his wife are incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The plot of land is flat, private, and very easily accessible to all the happenings of Anchorage. Water, power, and trash were readily available (and bear spray!) and Ethan was able to offer additional guidance and help regarding various things to do! Our dog Dunkin loved playing with his dog and all in all, we all had a great time calling this “home” during our stay. The firepit at night, was a huge hit as well! We will definitely be back! A++!

The location was great and super convenient to everything in anchorage. It was a nice, pretty, and quiet space to camp for the night. Ethan was extremely generous! Would recommend!

Great spot in quiet neighborhood with water and power. Cell phone reception is great and host provides wifi too. Space is private and clean and Ethan is a great and accommodating host.

We ended up not being able to stay here (we’re out behind schedule on our end). Prior to the stay, Ethan was very communicative and checked in with what we needed and when we planned to be there. Once we knew we wouldn’t make it for the night, he refunded us without us even asking, which we didn’t expect. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here and are sad that we weren’t able to experience his place.
