Enjoy the comforts of home in nature — including real toilets, showers, and kitchen.
Grizzly Annie’s Cabin, has an arctic entry, small sitting and eating area, gallery kitchen with stove, microwave, air fryer, refrigerator. The bathroom has toilet, sink, shower. On demand hot water. There is a washer and a dryer (fee). The bunk beds are in a tiny nook. There is one other room, staff quarters.
There are many back country trails, promising a true wilderness experience to off roaders whether on foot, on a bike, or atv. Our dock is a good place to launch small craft. A paved bike trail connects to Talkeetna or the Parks Highway.
Monday - Thursday, available for one night stays.
Friday - Sunday, minimum two night stayAt Grizzly Annie’s Cabin, two single bunks are available. Grizzly Annie’s Cabin has an arctic entry, small sitting/eating area, gallery kitchen, bathroom with shower stall, and staff room. Hot and cold water. The water comes from a deep well. The kitchen has a two burner stove, microwave, air fryer, refrigerator. Guests are welcome to prepare their own food. A washer and dryer are available to guests (fee). Guests from the cabins have access to all common space at Grizzly Annie’s. Bunks are located in a tiny nook of the main room. There is an electric outlet at the end of the bunks. Free WiFi is provided. Parking is available at the cabin.
The little wood fired sauna is popular with guests. Firewood is available (fee) for the sauna or an outdoor campfire. Visitors are welcome to bring their own firewood.
Christiansen Lake offers good fishing for rainbows and steelhead. Our little dock is also perfect for launching small craft . (Motor use is restricted) Crystal clear water invites swimming. The chain of lakes, has inviting nature walks, a canoe trail, and swimming options. A paved bike path runs 14 miles along the Spur road.
