Great site, Hosts and Location
25 ft travel trailer
Great site! Lovely views. Quiet. Friendly and helpful hosts. Just outside of a small village north of Homer, with a restaurant and groceries nearby. Enjoyed our time there very much.

Loved it!

Pete and Lenore were fantastic hosts! We booked the site with little notice, and even then Pete greeted us with some homemade cookies and information about the site. There’s a beautiful trail head just down the road, too. We loved the privacy and views of Pete and Lenore’s place, and its proximity to hiking, beaches, and town!

Glacier views as promised!
30 ft travel trailer · With kids
Clean, clear view of the glaciers that the RV pad is named for. Mostly secluded, you can see a home they're building on the land below, but otherwise private. Trees surround the area as does the alpine meadow as mentioned. Lenore and Pete came to greet us and brought cookies and flowers and made sure we felt welcome and that everything met expectations. We enjoyed using the fire pit, which we had brought our own firewood for, but they had some wood already there. The area is filled with river rocks. Electric hook up had 3 types of plug ins and well water tasted great as promised. The pad was a little narrow, we had an awning barely fit, so make sure to park for any pull-outs and awnings accordingly. The side with water and electricity of the site drops down into a steep slope and it's also the side that opens up to see the mountains, glaciers and the one home. In addition to Pete and Lenore's directions (the pinned location worked on Google Maps) there is a metal bar by the road with an orange buoy tied to it which helps find the spot. We greatly enjoyed being in this quiet spot right near Eveline Park, surrounded by trees, flowers and a view of glaciers in the mountains. I highly recommend this spot!

We loved the location, great views and quiet! Close enough to Homer to do some fishing and a few touristy things. The cookies were a great touch, thanks Lenore!
