Stunning Water's Edge Camping

We had a great time at Greensport RV Park & were impressed with how quiet and spacious it seemed, given the amount of rvs it can accommodate. We paddle boarded on the lake, swam in the pool, enjoyed the animals nearby and felt we had everything we needed. The dog park & wash area was the perfect touch for a dog friendly area as well. Would definitely return!

Beautiful lake view

Very large RV park set lake side. Many varieties of campers from short to long stays. It’s a very family oriented park and busy during the day, but since it’s so large nothing seemed over crowded. I had a very pretty and quiet lot in the new 700’s section. It was still under construction, but 150ft put me at the lake.

Stay longer next time

Beautiful location, great staff, and the best install of hookups anywhere. It was an overnight along my cross country this time, but I’d like to spend a week there and explore the fishing next time.

Stunning Water's Edge Camping

Not quite what expected, but great!

From the posting, I was expecting a more secluded campsite setting yet we were positioned in a typical row of campers. The disappointment ended there… The hosts were wonderful, the extensive grounds were unique and exceptional! This place could be coined ‘Yellowstone’ of Alabama- the owner Dave’s family has owned the land for over 100 years! It’s a super unique place…again not what I expected, but ended up being wonderful 🙂

Stunning Water's Edge Camping

Not for us

If you are looking for a place to park your camper, this may be the park for you. But if you are looking for a relaxing retreat in the woods to camp in, this is NOT the place for you. The spots are not dispersed, in that you have plenty of room for privacy. There are no trees and the water you are on is more swampy than stunning. Don’t get me wrong there is a beautiful part of the lake, but this site is not on it. This is more of a RV community.
