We are located on 86 acres on the edge of Bankhead National Forest. Our property has many great spots for primitive camping, as well as hiking trails through the forest. Our property has naturally formed caves, and fresh water springs. We have a bathhouse for campers, with showers, restrooms, and washer/dryer combos. We offer 30 AMP & 50 AMP electric hook-up, sewer, and water. Most of our RV site sizes are 30 feet wide by 60 feet long. We do have some larger sites as well. Bama Campground is conveniently located only 15 minutes from Smith Lake, 25 minutes from Haleyville, 30 minutes from Jasper, an hour from Muscle Shoals, and an hour and 20 minutes from the Huntsville Space & Rocket Center. We are Northwest Alabama’s Ultimate Camping Getaway Destination. Our Campground has many trails to explore the forest on foot… just beware of “Big Foot”, of which there have been many sightings.

Site 8 - RV Hookup with Water, Power, Sewer
Place seemed to be undergoing a renovation and I’m sure when it’s finished it’s going to be beautiful. We were pretty much the only visitors on that day. Person that greeted us was very nice. The site was gravel and fairly level. overall I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again and I’m sure it’s gonna be extremely nice when they finish with all the additions and changes that are anticipated.

RV Hookup with Water, Power, Sewer
Had a peaceful stay here. Nice day hike nearby on foot. Site 8 is perfect if you want to be apart from neighbors. Would certainly stay again
