Lake Georgia-Sue is an 85 acre oasis of relaxation and fun. We are located in East Central Kansas, not far from Kansas City, Topeka, Lawrence, and Wichita. The lake itself is 8 acres, with a lot of fish, swimming, small craft boating, kayaking, and wind surfing. The property has numerous sites where you can private pasture your horses, work them in our private round pens, and trail ride them in the hundreds of miles of trails that intersect the property. These are VERY large and private campsites with no nosey or loud neighbors. Sites are for primitive tenting or full RV 30 amp and water hookups. Lakefront sites or forest sites are available. Showers, toilets, AC Clubhouse, playground, ponies, pet pigs, goats, and chickens. Pet friendly. Group camping for up to 25 people. Great for weddings, birthdays, etc We are just a short drive from four larger state lakes. An abundance of good restaurants are just ten minutes away, and sometimes we take a trail ride to eat Mexican or BBQ in the village close by.

Lakefront - Tom's Meadow

This was my husband and his friends trip, they had a blast. 10/10. The trains kept them up at night so that is the only thing to be aware. They want to go back already!

Lakefront - Lake Meadow 1

We loved staying at Fred’s . It was green pastures , and pretty wild flowers. ,Fred dropped off some portable water for us. So we could cook out. Also lots of horses and goats on the farm. Thanks Fred.

Horses/Group - Circle the Wagons!

Great Experience

Fantastic hosts, beautiful place to camp, hike, interact with horses and animals, and enjoy water activities. Fred even took us on a hayride at sunset around the grounds and our kids absolutely loved this place. There was plenty of privacy and seclusion at our site. We will definitely be back, thanks again for a great weekend!

Wonderful Stay

Fred’s place is a slice of heaven. If you love flowers, horses, fishing, wooded trails, and farm animals, you must take a trip out to visit!! Fred was gracious enough to take us hayride through his property. It is absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to return. Thank you so much, Fred!

Lakefront - Lake Meadow 1

Great getaway!!

My husband, our 3 dogs and me stayed at Lakefront meadow 1. It was a very beautiful Lakefront campsite with a fishing dock off our site with a pontoon boat. There's a ton of wildflowers growing all over and plenty of small wildlife goats, horses, mules, cows,sheep and their dog and cat. The place is very well kept and safe. The campsites are well spaced and we had plenty of privacy. The only downside is the trains that go by. Not much of a bother in the daytime but at night while trying to sleep was a little annoying. It seemed the night train conductor blew the whistle a little more, which is not so cool at 2 a.m. lol Overall we had a great time and plan to return soon. Thank you Fred and your family for having us.
