The Neature Preserve

The Neature Preserve (formerly known as "Tabby's Trees") consists of 74 acres made up mostly of pine forest situated in the coastal plain. An ephemeral wetland runs along the south of the property with a seasonal wetland along the southwest. The overstory of the forest is dominated by loblolly and slash pine with a few longleaf pine sprinkled in as well as turkey oak, live oak, laurel oak, and more. The property has two tent sites and one car camping site that can also accommodate a small camper. There are designated campsites with fire rings, but if you are the only camper during your stay you are welcome to set up camp wherever you would like. We have two miles of trails through a variety of ecosystems that can hiked or biked. The Neature Preserve is all about restoring native habitat! Small campground, well spaced out. Watch out for gators. Have made tons of improvements to Park over last few years.
