Located 20 minutes north of downtown Milton, FL, The Wandering Path is a serene escape, offering a unique blend of untouched natural beauty and comfortable accommodations. With 2000 feet of waterfront along the picturesque Coldwater Creek, this nature retreat is a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life, set within a sprawling 20-acre landscape. Accommodations at The Wandering Path are designed for those seeking a peaceful retreat. Four glamping tents, equipped with real full-size beds, portable AC for summer, heaters for winter, and essential amenities, ensure a comfortable stay amidst nature. Each tent is adorned with solar string lights, and outdoor essentials like a picnic table, fire pit ring, small charcoal grill, and trash can are provided. For those who prefer a more raw connection with nature, four primitive campsites are available, each equipped with solar string lights, a fire pit ring, and a trash can. A hike-in site with a picnic table is also an option for adventurers. Guests have access to a centrally located bathhouse with two full bathrooms, ensuring comfort and convenience. There is now an outdoor kitchen for all guests to use. There is no cookware, silverware or dishes. There is a counter-top oven, toaster, 2 stove top burners, 1 flat top griddle, sink and keurig coffee maker. There are reusable k-cups for you to put your own coffee in, or your own k-cups. The property boasts 2000 feet of trails alongside the creek, perfect for hiking and exploring the natural surroundings. Kayak rentals are available for guests with appropriate vehicles, and fishing enthusiasts are welcome to cast their lines into the spring-fed creek. At The Wandering Path, nights come alive under a starlit sky, unblemished by city lights, making every evening perfect for a campfire. It’s more than just a stay; it’s an experience of tranquility, a chance to recharge amidst nature’s embrace. We look forward to becoming your go-to spot when you’re in need of recharging. We are less than 1 hour from Pensacola and Navarre beaches, 15-20 minutes to local grocery stores and restaurants. At this time, no pets or children under 12 are allowed in yurts. ***All pets do require prior approval to maintain the safety of other guests.

The Wandering Path, Primitive #5
We stayed at Primitive #5. The site was awesome, we had a wonderful time floating down the water in our floats! Amanda was a great host, and I loved how she did the bathhouse, super cute and so much attention to detail to include anything her campers could need! Oh and the stars out there are so pretty and bright at night!

Glamping with Amanda!
A wonderful getaway planned by Amanda and I am so grateful that she went above and beyond to accommodate a surprise I had for my girlfriend. If you are thinking about Glamping this is absolutely the spot to go!

Amazing Campsite!
My partner & I booked a one night stay & couldn’t have asked for anything better! This is by far the best campsite we have stayed at. Everything was super clean & secluded. The bathroom & outdoor kitchen were such great additions & not a far walk from our site. Sandbars all around us - easy to float the river & the host was so friendly & helpful. 10/10 would recommend & visit again!

Beat the Heat!
⛺ This campsite was an AMAZING way to get outdoors during the heat of the Florida summer. We stayed at yurt #3 which is just a few steps away from the river, so it was extremely easy to walk our paddleboard down. There are also kayaks for rent but beware, the water moves quite swiftly! If you wish to paddle far, you may spend a good amount of time paddling back. Nonetheless, it was amazing to cool down by the water as the AC unit cooled our tent, which only took a few hours. We made dinner and breakfast using some of the cookware Amanda has provided (toaster oven, griddle, 2 burners, Keurig) - just be sure you clean this communal space afterward! 🐴 There are also some other fun things to do in the area, like fruit picking, local rodeos, restaurants in Milton, and trail riding. The Wandering Path is a perfect stop on a drive through FL, and a perfect staycation for the Panhandle locals!

Great camping trip on the creek
Hi all Camper! If you like to be close to nature, near water and still comfortable this's your place. We found this place via hipcamp and we design to book it. Definitely is the best decision 🙌 the place is accecly as described in website, the price is great. Their is the bath house, main kitchen space and our camp site have everything we need. We love the location not to far from town and water front. We love the sand bar and beautiful creek over there. If you have kids! This's the safe place for your kids to play around the shallow creek on the private camp site property. We plan to recommend to many of our friends and family. Thank you to our wonderful host Ms.Amanda , you did a wonderful job out there💓💓🙏🙏 can't wait to go back again. Love you.
