Nuthin" fancy here but a great way to enjoy the Olé Historic Suwannee river and it's majestic surroundings. Oh and Blue Springs is just up the road a piece. Beautiful white sandbars appear along the bends of the river and gleaming white limestone banks line much of the river through this area.It drains out of the Okefenokee Swamp in southeastern Georgia and travels over 200 miles across the Florida Peninsula on its way down to the Gulf of Mexico. It’s also the only river in the state with surprisingly class III-rated rapids Called Big Shoals
