Buttonwood Campground

Located on the Gulf side of the island, this campground is paved with gravel, making it a good spot for RVs (up to 71 feet in length) and pop ups. If you want to spread out, come here; these campsites are the largest in the park. Restrooms with hot showers are nearby, as is a dump station. You’ll also be hooked up with electricity, water, picnic tables, and a grill at each site. Reserve well ahead if you want to get one of the 14 campsites on the water -- talk about waking up to a great view -- but beware the lack of shade.
