This property was owned by an Italian family who came to Australia in the 30's. We bought the house in Aug 2021 and fell instantly in love with it and all its quirkiness. The original cottage is still on site and is a long term renovation project for us, it may be old but holds lots and lots of history behind them walls. The verandah area is yours to use, if you wish, for a bit of extra room to escape the rain or provide a bit of shade (depending on season) it has a powerpoint and light for your convenience. Unfortunately, as there are building works happening at the back of the cottage we have closed access to the toilet area for your safety at this time.Please check Wikicamps or contact me for updated calender, A private property on two acres , full of trees and birds. We are situated close to a local shop if you need supplies, the town centre and beaches are 7 minutes away if you want to swim or partake in any watersports.  You will need your own toilet and shower but there is drinking water, electric , a picnic table and rubbish facilities. Outside of fireban season you're welcome to warm your toes around the campfire. There is plenty of shade on site and a verandah outside the original cottage built in 1932 which is nice and shady if you want to just sit and relax or cook there.  Pets allowed

There was plenty of room for any size of rig. The host's were very welcoming. Easy access to power and water. Convenient location to access Geraldton for shopping and service.

NIce stay
The campground is easy to find. It is very peaceful, the places are big. The owners are very friendly: they even offered us to use the power on the site and gave us some eggs from their chicken. The town centre is not far away and Highway 1 is in reach.

Lovely spot conveniently close to G
Was a nice location, large sites not to close. Ground gets 50mm of water pooling in heavy rain but drains quickly once rain stops. Choose roam about and friendly, and will check out your van if allowed. Easy access to power (15Amp) and water if needed. Just be sure to swing wide as you go in or out of the gate, it is narrow so if towing, allow for it.

Helpful and friendly hosts. As the name suggests, the 2 camp sites are in a garden setting and you are not far from the centre of town. P/W available. Watch out for the friendly chooks.
