Creekside Camp
Perfect spot right next to the national park! Amazing hiking trails just a few minutes away. The camping area is cozy but comfortably fit our 4-person tent. A wonderful, rustic spot for anyone looking to experience nature. Highly recommend!
Creekside Camp
Great spot for New River Gorge
This is a lovely “little” spot just off of a winding country road. It is nestled in the woods.
Pros:
*Private (even though RIGHT on the road, very little traffic) you have woods behind you, woods on one side and the start of a wattle fence providing screening on the third.
*small firepit
*fire tongs
*there is a composting toilet available, but not super easy to get to
*sooooo close to The Endless Wall parking lots. You wouldn’t want to walk there, but it is close
*soooo close to The New River Gorge NP Canyon Rim Visitor’s Center
*so close to Adventures on the Gorge Resort, restaurants, water park, rafting, ziplining
Cons:
*tiny spot, our 26’ RV with no slides barely fit. Do not reserve if you have anything larger than 26 ‘ or if you have slides
*gravel pad has large rocks and is far from level…would be helped by a small retaining wall and limestone 57 and then a layer of Crush and Run😬

Creekside Camp
Great Spot
Great van camping spot for us! We were there for the Bridge Day weekend and the property was close to the bridge day festivities. The Endless Wall trail is really close…maybe a mile away, and offers amazing views of the new river.
The weather was great and the few pieces of firewood left for us made it easy to start up a fire right away. The outhouse was clean and well maintained. The hosts put together a very thoughtful campsite!

Creekside Camp
Private site close to activities.
This spot was perfect! Very close to plenty of hiking, the New River Bridge and Fayetteville. The instructions on getting there were very easy to follow and the space was great and very private.
I read a review that said the space for the tent was small but it fit our 5 person tent just fine.
Would recommend and would stay again!

Creekside Camp
Cozy nook
Lu’s spot is tucked into the hills not far from Rt. 19. But it seems many miles away; although it is easy to find. Our campervan fit perfectly. There is a flat landing on the creek side for table and such. The compost toilet is thoughtfully made, very clean and eclectic. We could not have a fire as there is a drought but fire ring looks up to the task. There are residences nearby but still felt out in the wood. There are hiking trails within walking distance. We walked to the Nuttallburg mine; it was cool. Fayetteville is 10 minute drive. It has good beer, food and shops. We plan to come again.
