Come and experience the beauty of Samish Island at this private high bank campsite. Enjoy the amazing water and mountain views from this unique property while lounging in your van, relaxing in your tent or hanging out on the spacious decks. Convenience of a drive on island and only 20 minutes to the freeway. Single campsite is located at the front of the property perched at the bluff edge, boasting amazing sunsets, panoramic water views of Samish + Bellingham bay with Blanchard and Chuckanut in the background. Bring your toys or just enjoy the view. Located just steps from the public beach access you can enjoy clamming, kayaking, paddle boarding or just beach combing. There is also a regularly serviced Honey bucket at the park access. Bikes are a great option for exploring the island and the surrounding area including all that Edison has to offer just a few miles away. Site includes a designated parking space, two large decks with a pergola, gazebo, timber table, firepit and adirondack chairs for enjoying the view. we are best setup for tent campers w/ single vehicle, trucks w/ slide in campers, vans etc. We CANNOT accommodate travel trailers at this site! No power/water/bathroom facilities Friendly pets are welcome, please pick up after your furry friends and keep them on leash or long line *firewood/bikes/kayaks/paddle boards not provided The residence is not currently occupied and we are starting repairs and renovations on the back buildings later this year, so you may see me in/out some days as I base my construction business from the shop at the back of the property Please enjoy the private campsite area and refrain from exploring the back of the property or other buildings.Approaching the property you'll pass the Skagit county public beach access and drive through the timber entryway. The campsite is located on the right overlooking the water behind the stacked timber wall. Everything on the bluff in front of the driveway is the area for you to enjoy. The designated parking space is at the far end and is a pull-in or back-in next to the gazebo. This parking space is great for cars, vans, pickup trucks w/ slide in campers and rvs under 24'. This site CANNOT accommodate truck/travel trailer combinations as we dont have the space for turning around, maneuvering or additional parking spaces. (please do not obstruct the shared driveway that passes throught the property) Be aware and careful on the decks as not all areas have railings and there is steep terrain at the bluff edges.

Samish Island Bluff
We had the most wonderful time. Plenty of room to park our 23 foot rig. The views were outstanding! We had planned on spending some time adventuring but loved the spot so much that we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave the island. We spent 3 blissful days reading, chatting, watching the wildlife, and listening to the ocean waves. The hosts were lovely. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful and unique spot!
What an excellent spot! Love love loved the deck and table and covered space. A secret little gem of a tent platform was down below. Lovely - we will return! (The CLEAN porta potty at the park just a short walk frm the site is there if you don’t want to use your own off grid buckets and such!)

Best Hipcamp ever!
What an amazing little spot with expansive views! The covered deck is a plus, making it the perfect site for rainy overnights. Excellent walks. Great eating in the nearby little town of Edison. We have already booked another weekend.

Samish Island Bluff
We had a great stay on Samish Island! Very beautiful spot! As other reviews mention, there is a honeybucket just steps away, near the beach access. We brought a lugable loo just in case, but didn’t need to use it. Pros: view, view (yes twice), deck, covering for rain, location. Only con would be the setting. There is an old trailer home/modular home right behind you, plus two occupied homes. So privacy is limited, but not really any different from a major campsite. The actual setting of the site and location are beautiful enough to over come this. We would stay again, and hope to in the future.
