Enjoy your stay at this riverside campground that radiates peace, sparks imagination, and nurtures inspiration. Just west of Belfair, this tucked away destination emerges to an enchanting campground, nestled away from the main roads and noise. Overlooking a swimmable and fishable river, this space is big enough for 3 families to camp comfortably. At the center is a kitchenette perfect for setting up a grill for easy cooking. Fire pit ready and outhouse on site. Once you hit the black gate you have arrived, take the dirt path to the right and the road will open up to your campsite. We host one booking at a time, so the entire campsite and river is yours. Happy camping : )Enjoy a secluded riverside camping experience nestled in a grove of Alpines right next to the Tahuya river. With private access to the water, enjoy fishing, floating, and swimming. Bird watchers will rejoice at the sightings of cranes, eagles, hawks, and woodpeckers. Hikers and foragers can enjoy exploring the various trails as they collect rocks, minerals, and mushrooms throughout the 65,000sq ft property. 20 minutes away from Belfair, should you need to restock on supplies. Outhouse is provided, along with a covered kitchenette.

Love this secluded river side spot! Whether you’re hanging out with friends, or looking to chill and read a book by the fire, this spot is perfect. Plus - you get to watch the salmon run all afternoon and enjoy the stars at night. We’ll be back!

Slice of paradise
Beautiful and private spot to escape it all! My partner and I came up and spent two wonderful nights listening to the salmon working their way up the river! Be sure to bring bug spray - you are by water.

This place was ok. I think it could have used some better signage at the entry gate, as currently it is pretty faded. Also there was just a ton of trash at the site when we got there, so maybe something posted in the sheltered area as well about taking trash along. No one comes between bookings to ensure the camp is tidy. Overall it was camping and we had fun and appreciated having a beautiful creek area to explore

Great Host
Our trip was cut short by an unfortunate injury that occurred as soon as we got there. Samuel was very understanding and even offered to partially refund us which he didn’t have to do but we really appreciated. The spot was really cool, great river access for people and dogs. Seemed really secluded as well. We hope to go back soon to finally be able to enjoy it.

Such an incredible spot along the river! The river was low in August, but still enough to go for a little swim. We saw lots of fish and deer, and the structure built for kitchen activities was really useful. The site is super private, and the light pollution was low enough to enjoy a meteor shower. If you are multiple groups or just the kind of person that really needs mobile internet, it's worth knowing that you're about a 20 minute drive from signal (for T Mobile at least). I mention the multiple groups thing because if someone is meeting you at this site and doesn't have the full entrance instructions, the space can be hard to find. The entrance is a closed gate with a no trespassing sign, and if you don't know that is explicitly allowed to open the gate, it feels like there's no way this could be the place. It is, though.
